Due to the snap lockdown we couldn't leave the dock to welcome her in but being in lockdown on HELSAL IV is as close to the action as you can get. Apologies for not being able to take people out but here are a few snaps.

Greet Australia's new ANTARCTIC explorer NUYINA

Sail down to welcome RSV Nuyina in style with a complementary glass of Tasmanian bubbles (along with all the usual fare). Nuyina is the much awaited replacement for the Aurora Australis and at 160m she will be something to see. You can book online for the Derwent River Charter this Saturday, October 16 at 8am and return to dock at 11am. This earlier time will allow us to make the most of Nuyina's arrival in her new home port while still getting in a great sail and tour of the harbour.

EMBRACING THE OFF SEASON

It's a very rare day when we don't get any wind at all on Hobart's glorious harbour. We had such a day this week. Sitting in the middle of the harbour watching the occasional Australian Fur Seal and Little Penguin watching us, inspired half our guests to take the plunge into the invigorating 9 degree Celsius River Derwent. And they were from Sydney and Byron Bay! Going off in the off season! Respect!
