I’ve done this dive hundreds of times, but I still remember the first time like it was yesterday.
They led me out, far from the boat, and I was instantly hooked.
There’s nothing like stretching my neck out to make direct eye contact with these sea puppies. Each encounter feels special.
Over the years, I’ve come to know some of them individually—each with their own personality. It’s a connection that keeps me coming back every single time.

CLEAN UP THIS SUNDAY ‼️🌊
Our final clean-up of 2024 is here, and it's going to be a big one! Join us at 10am this Sunday the 1st of December, at the turn-off for Bherwerre track on Cave beach rd, for a morning on one of Jervis Bay’s most remote beaches.
Not only will we be cleaning up this beach, but you'll get the opportunity to learn all about the Tangaroa Blue AMDI database and how it's helping to reduce marine debris at the source. We will also be completing an AUSMAP microplastics assessment of this beach (and enjoying some morning tea)!
A big shout out to the ACT police force in Booderee who we will be hitching a 4WD lift from down to the beach, and to all of the awesome locals who have joined our Clean-ups throughout the year!
We'd love to see as many of you there as possible, especially those of you already doing your own regular individual clean ups!
Please bring bags and gloves as usual, we will only have a few spares.
