Have you walked some of the Australian Alps Walking Track? 🚶🏼

The Australian Alps extend from Canberra down to the Snowy Mountains and along the Great Dividing Range to the northeast of Melbourne. The Australian Alps Walking Track is 655 kilometres long and follows ridges and high plains through some of the highest country in Australia.

You can walk the track in 10 weeks, but many people choose to walk shorter sections such as Baw Baw Plateau, Bogong High Plains and Jagungal Wilderness.

Have you noticed this sculpture on your way to the Snowy Mountains? 👀

The 'Snowy River Sphere' was created by Richard Moffatt as an impressive, large-scale sculpture to mark the gateway to the Snowy Mountains. The beams have deep connections to the mountains, made entirely from recycled steel beams originally used in the construction of the Skitube, built in the 1980s.

Located just 2km outside of Berridale on Kosciuszko Road you will find Coolamatong Snowy Mountains Golf Club. This 18 hole course is no easy feat, featuring undulating fairways and well maintained pine trees around most holes.

Go for a game when the winds are strong the course to really test your golfing skills! 🏌🏻

After a huge week of snowmaking, Perisher are thrilled to be opening more resort areas! ❄️🎉 Happy Valley opened today, with Blue Cow and Smiggin Holes set to open this Saturday 22nd June. Resort areas will not yet be interconnected and travel between Perisher Valley and Blue Cow is only possible via Ski Tube.
