Let's go on an aerial adventure

Owned by flight-enthusiasts Lisa and Richard, Turquoise Heli Experience is here to help you see Jurien Bay from a new perspective. Flying has long-been a part of our personal heritage. In fact, our passion for quality heli flights stretch back to the 1950s, when Lisa’s father, Capt. James Ferguson, was a helicopter pioneer.

James was heavily involved in Skippy the Bush Kangaroo as Bell-47 owner/pilot — a TV series that captivated audiences worldwide in the late 1960s. He also spent time supporting rural Indigenous communities with medical transport, as well as being a Lieutenant in the Fleet Air Arm, Sir Reginald Ansett's private pilot, a gravity surveyor and remote heli transporter in PNG.
Capt Ferguson passed his love for flying onto Lisa, who now gets to share the interest with her husband, who is coincidentally a keen flyer and professional pilot with over 35 years experience!
