Just a few photos of 2024 Springtime in Camelot Garden Stroll. Looking as pretty as a picture albeit on a smaller scale, and yes, we are sad we're NOT opening....but keeping well is our priority now. Dean managed to MOW the lawns today first time since back surgery in early May....under the guidance of 1 year old Miss Billie...we hope you're all well and happy.

Huge alterations to Camelot Garden Stroll since we made the decision to make the gardens' work load 'easier' for Dean and I to handle....thankfully the days are getting a little longer, the sun is out, Dean's back is still good and we have Craig to help with the 'big' jobs. Definitely work in progress.

Not such a good start for the rose pruning season this year. A nasty rose thorn through my gloves; converted to an infected swollen ring finger. Only conclusion was to have 3 rings cut off and a quick course of antibiotics and a tetanus injection. Thankyou Mark for your expert cutting skills.

Catch up photos from Camelot Garden Stroll . I had the pleasure of going to the Women's and Children's Hospital with other Auxiliary members to view where the $12,000 raised from our last Open Day was to be spent in the Hospital. ....other photos show the beginning of the transformation of Camelot. 14 palms were removed in April and now the removal of their root system is so ongoing.....we are still totally in love with our Miss Billie and she is having so much fun exploring the big yard.....the dry weather was so sad for the garden......the front garden is being stripped and replanted for ease of maintenance. I hope your all well. And keep enjoying your gardens.

Just a quick update on life at Camelot Garden Stroll since we closed our doors to the public visits.... Life has been centred around our new pup Miss Billie. (We were trying to fill the void of our dear George who passed last year). Billie is adorable and we are in love again with a fur baby.....Dean is still trying to shake a ' bad back injury' since December and boy oh boy the garden needs rain. The dam is near empty and the turtles are retreating into the mud....roll on some opening rains in April maybe?? We will be commencing minimalising the garden soon and taking out 14 palm trees, and trimming a lot of tall trees. It's going to look a lot different but its what we have to go with now for easier maintaining. ...love to hear from you. We miss you all...in the meantime keep well and happy. ### Helen n Dean ###

Our festival wouldn’t be what it is, without a dedicated committee, countless volunteers, fantastic affiliated events, generous sponsors and an enthusiastic community.

So we thank you all, for your assistance in making 2023 Kernewek Lowender, 50th year celebration, an event worthy of the 2024 Copper Coast Event of the Year.

It was an honour to be in great company along with the Citizen of the Year, Dean Rodda and Young Citizen of the Year, Chloe Paddick

We welcome with love our dear little Cavalier pup ' Miss Billie" into our family...... I think Dean and I are going to be able to keep up with her.....although I'm not altogether sure.
A sweet little ball of mischief to fill the huge void of losing our dear George.
