Our Kangaloon bees are having a great season, and we have had a variety of eucalyptus, blackberry and clover flowering. So we are excited to announce to advise that we have the following honey for sale:

• 1kg Tubs- $16
• 500g Jar - $8

100% of these honey sales are being donated to Wollongong Seventh-Day Adventist Church youth as part of the STORMCo initiative and their week long mission trip to Condobolin in October 2024.

STORMCo teams visit communities with the intent to serve others without a pre-determined agenda or expectation of anything in return. Their goal is to present Christian faith in action by building long term relationships and being a refreshing influence to the entire community.

So enjoy some delicious flavoured local honey, and support our local youth do extraordinary things in a remote community.

It’s a sad day for our industry 😔😔😔

From June 2022, industry and government have worked closely in partnership to attempt to eradicate Varroa mite.

The National Management Group (made up of all states, the Commonwealth and 16 industry partners) have now decided that eradication is no longer technically feasible and have unanimously decided to move from an eradication program to a management approach.

Both bodies reiterated the efforts and sacrifices beekeepers across NSW have made in protecting our honey and pollination-reliant industries over the past 15 months. NSW DPI would also like to express its gratitude for the support and efforts of bee keepers throughout this response.

Transition to management of the Varroa mite will be led by NSW DPI in consultation with key stakeholders.

Illawarra Pathfinders, a group close to our hearts and group that has literally changed our lives. Taking Elli in and filling her with Gods love and friendship.

After more than 12 months of fundraising and working their hearts out for new camping gear, tents ect. Last week they where camping in Kangaroo Valley and that freak storm wiped out most of their tents and camping gear
