The Midsumma Pride March, which is an annual signature celebration of pride and diversity to march for those who cannot, was held on Sunday 6th of February 2022 in St Kilda Melbourne. Thousands of people lined the cafes and balconies along Fitzroy Street to show their support.

AML Risk Management was proudly involved in the event and supplied Archer 1200 Barriers to secure the venue location, which closed off roads in St Kilda around the Pride March route.

The Archer 1200 Barriers worked to protect the marchers, event staff and bystanders from errant and hostile vehicles to allow for a safe and successful event.

We would like to thank all parties who were involved in the event operations which contributed to the success of the event.

The Victoria Street Lunar Festival returned in 2022 by welcoming the Year of the Tiger. AML Risk Management would like to congratulate the Yarra City Council once again for such an amazing cultural event.

An early morning start in Richmond for AML. The Archer 1200 Barriers were deployed to safeguard patrons, pedestrians, and business throughout the running of the event.

On Saturday 18th December 2021, AML Risk Management assisted with the safe and successful closure of Bellair Street to welcome the Discover Kensington Christmas Craft Fair.

Groups of families and friends gathered to enjoy the musical stage acts, magicians, balloon twisting, face painting, kids craft and photos with Santa. Entertainment and Christmas characters also safely wandered around Macaulay Road and surrounding areas.

AML deployed and marshalled 28 Archer 1200 Barriers to create a safe area for the local community to enjoy a very successful event.

Archer 1200 Mobile Anti-Vehicle Barriers safeguarding outdoor street diners across The City of Melbourne.

AML Risk Management in collaboration with The City of Melbourne, have been safeguarding outdoor street diners across Melbourne. The Archer 1200 Barriers have made Covid safe outdoor dining areas possible as Melbourne makes its way out of lockdown.

The outdoor dining areas have allowed restaurant owners to increase their capacities by bringing their dining experience onto the streets of Melbourne while adhering to the Covid-19 restrictions.

It has also allowed Victorians to enjoy the wonderful food that Melbourne has to offer as we come in the summer festive season, in a safe environment protected by the Archer 1200 Barriers.

Midsumma Pride March is a signature celebration of pride and diversity to march for those who cannot. The 26th annual Pride March took place on the 23rd of May 2021 where 7000+ marchers took to Fitzroy Street in St Kilda Melbourne. Thousands of people lined the cafes and balconies along Fitzroy Street to show their support.

AML Risk Management was proudly involved in the event and supplied Archer 1200 Barriers to secure the venue location, which closed off roads in St Kilda around the Pride March route.
The Archer 1200 barriers were used as part of the vehicle mitigation plan to secure the site perimeters, deployed with quick release certified arrestor cables to allow access to emergency vehicles and the march floats. AML Risk Management staff deployed 99 Archer 1200 Barriers in under 45 minutes to secure the perimeters of the event and also reopened the roads at the conclusion of the event in the same time.

ANZAC Day is when we come together to commemorate the soldiers of our nation killed in war and to honour the returned and serving servicemen and women.

AML Risk Management was honoured to be a part of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service held in Mount Maunganui in New Zealand. The Archer 1200 barriers were deployed to secure the area where the memorial was held.

Furthermore, due to the snap lockdown which led to the cancellation of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service and Parade in Perth, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the servicemen and women in Perth as well as commemorate the fallen ones during the war. It was unfortunate that we were not able to proceed with our part in the memorial due to the unfortunate lockdown, however, we were set to protect then and will be set to protect in the future.

New Zealand has proudly hosted their 36th America’s Cup in Auckland as well as the Prada Cup Challenger Selection Series.

AML Risk Management has supplied the event host with the Archer 1200 Mobile Barriers as a safety precaution to safeguard the event location from the risk of errant or hostile vehicles.

The Archer 1200 barriers were installed at the highest risk point of the location which became the most robust hostile vehicle mitigation method installed to date in New Zealand.

The Archer 1200 barriers has provided proportionate security measures as a part of the city-wide security plan. Not only has it been safeguarding the community it has also provided the crowd and traffic management the benefit of increased safety and control of both crowd and automobile traffic within the area.

On 28th of March 2021, the Greek Community of Melbourne commemorated the 200th anniversary of the Greek war of Independence.

AML Risk Management proudly supplied 34 units of Archer 1200 Barriers to secure Lansdowne Street in East Melbourne, helping to keep the Greek Community and patrons of the event safe while they celebrated the feast day of Evagelismos with Hellenes and Philhellenes.

Moomba Festival has allowed Melbournians to enjoy its festivities for over 60 years. Although the 2021 Moomba Festival was a little different due to COVID-19, the Archer 1200 barriers played a significant role in protecting Melburnians during the 4 day festival.

A suspected DUI driver crashed into a barricade protecting an outdoor dining area of a Santa Monica restaurant, injuring some diners, police said.
