Kin Kin Community Sports and Community Dinner is back on this Wednesday afternoon ⚽️ 🍝🌭 Games start from 3.30pm. All welcome to come along to play, watch or join in for an early dinner from 4pm.
Thank you to all our volunteers who come together each week to make this happen for our Community 🫶 Our local coaches, wonderful cooks, canteen helpers and KKCG to make this a weekly gathering for our community to enjoy sports on the Oval. See you this Wednesday! 🤸

🎥 Kin Kin movie night is on this Saturday 🙌🍿 Join in for a fun community, winters night indoors at our local Kin Kin School of Arts Hall, with a double movie special brought to you by the Kin Kin Community Group & Kin Kin State School P&C.
The doors and Candy Bar open from 4pm fundraising for our local Kin Kin State School There will be warm popcorn, hot dogs, icecream, drinks & more. 🌭🍿🥤🍦
It’s FREE entry for our local youths, so make sure you get there early to get your spot at the front and bring a pillow. $5 entry for adults at the door. Limited seating available, unreserved arrive early before each movie starts.
Two great movies for all of us to have a enjoy and have a laugh, starting with a family movie ‘Migration’ at 5pm followed by new release Australian comedy ‘The Nut Farm’ at 6.45pm. All welcome!

(2) The Nut Farm (2024) Genre: Comedy, Australian // San Francisco based crypto trader Brendan Brandon loses everything when his investments collapse but an opportunity presents itself when his missing uncle gifts him the family’s macadamia nut farm in the small Australian town of Cobweb. Faced with a unexpected legal caveat and some evil New Zealander frackers, Brendan soon realises that a quick sale of the old farm might not be as easy as he’d hoped.

Exciting News for Kin Kin!

We are thrilled to announce that the talented Rianna from Greenhouse Food Van is now part of our Kin Kin community! From Monday to Thursday, you can find her set up at the old Butter Factory Site. Make sure to head down, say G'day, and enjoy some delicious treats!

A big shoutout to Russel from Little Boy Blue for stepping in and filling the gap until Rianna could join us. You can still catch Russel on the oval every Friday, as Rianna won't be available that day.

These wonderful additions to our community wouldn't have been possible without the support of the Kin Kin Community Group. It's a fantastic way to connect and show your community spirit. Let's make the most of this new mobile cafe and continue building our vibrant Kin Kin!

🎉🏏 Congratulations to the Kin Kin cricket team for their fantastic win against Noosa Council, with a score of 115 runs to 95! 🏆 Your community spirit is truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in the Pink Stumps cricket match. Together, we raised an incredible $4257 for the McGrath Foundation! 💗 Your support makes a real difference.

We love our Kin Kin community and are thrilled to join Noosa Council on our beautiful Kin Kin Oval for such a wonderful cause.

The wait is almost over with Chiggy's Skateboarding at Kin Kin Skatepark this Sunday, 4 August at 9am to 3pm. Sunny coast ice cream co will be there too serving delicious icecream & shaved ice! 🍦 🍧 It will be a great day out in Kin Kin Kin Kin Market followed by Kin Kin Community vs Noosa Council Pink Stumps 🏏

🛹 Our local youths will be supported with skateboard lessons & mentoring from experienced instructors, equipment provided, giveaways, hydration station, music & more!

🌟 And … for our Kin Kin Youths come say hi from 9am to 12noon for a FREE ICECREAM ! For our local youths who have signed up to our local Kin Kin Youth program 2024, you are on the VIP list to get the choice of a free icecream or shaved ice (up to first 50 kids) or snack pack lucky dip until all gone! So come along to the youth desk & games area. Limited to 1 per child.

To our wonderful Kin Kin community, 🌱

With our town currently so quiet and in limbo waiting for the Black Ant to reopen, it has been heartening to see small businesses step up and support us, like Little Boy Blue and others who put up their hands, by delivering much-needed services such as creating delicious coffees for our community.

As a local small business ourselves, we wanted to show our support in a small but meaningful way, not only for the businesses that sustain us but also to share some positivity and love with our community.

Scion Realty has arranged with Little Boy Blue to pay for ALL coffees on Monday morning from 7am to 10am (while they operate). This is, of course, one per person, and we hope it encourages you to face the fresh morning, be greeted with a hot coffee, service with a smile, and enjoy the vibrant community that we cherish.

We hope to see you there on the oval Monday morning. ☕

Reminder Community Sports for term 3 starts up again this Wednesday 🙌 ⚽️ Our local volunteer coaches Tony & Phil will be supporting this terms program… for smoother sign in please weekly make sure youths are signed up to local Kin Kin Youth program to play here: https://events.humanitix.com/kin-kin-youth-program you only need to sign up once for the years events.
Please note it’s an earlier ‘winter’ start to come down after school with juniors (under 8’s) kick off from 3.30pm through to adults. All welcome to play, free community program, just sign your name off the list with our coaches Tony & Phil before you go on to the field.
The community canteen will be open weekly with healthier snack options including free fruit bowl & water for players supported by Kin Kin Community Group & Health and Wellbeing Queensland .

This week there is a pop up community dinner with a winter menu including nourishing soup, lasagne & chowder cooked by local volunteers to feed our community.
Each week may differ we’ll let you know weekly if there a community meal night on, canteen always open for refreshments.

Come down to Kin Kin Oval after school with an earlier start time over winter with juniors starting from 3.30pm.
Big thank you to our KKCG volunteers, helpers and to this terms supporter Health and Wellbeing Queensland with weekly fruit and water provide. Kin Kin Community Group providing this free community program connecting our community through Sport.
