AT 7.00pm

Unfortunately, current weather forecasts indicate the high potential for disruptions early tomorrow morning, Thursday 11 July.

A decision regarding the following departures will be made at check-in at the terminal:

- 5.30am sailing from Penneshaw

- 7:00am sailing from Cape Jervis

Conditions will continue to be monitored overnight and the next update will be at approximately 5:00am tomorrow.

Update: Scheduled maintenance period

In relation to the upcoming scheduled maintenance, we will reduce the formerly advised maintenance period from 22 days to 9 days:

From 31st July – 8th August, the Spirit of Kangaroo Island will be removed from service.

During this time, all ferry services will be conducted by Sealion 2000.

Ensure you book early to secure your preferred departure times. We thank you for your patience, understanding and support during this important time.

SeaLink Kangaroo Island’s vehicle and passenger ferry service operates daily (excluding Christmas Day) between Cape Jervis and Penneshaw.

Amadio’s Vino e Cucina is temporarily closing its doors today for approximately two and a half months. There will be significant renovations in the kitchen and dining area, aimed at creating a more open space.

Our upcoming plans also involve broadening our takeout offerings to include pizzas and our meatballs in sauce, along with other mouthwatering options. Additionally, we will be upgrading the outdoor areas to ensure a more comfortable and consistently regulated temperature for our valued patrons.

With the improved kitchen facilities, our goal is to better serve local families by expanding our takeout menu selection. We anticipate the restaurant to reopen in early September.
