At Barwon Park Mansion 3 hour Paranormal Investigation What a great night we had. I have been hosting tours here for the last couple of years and slowly but surely the spirits are literally...coming out!
Now one of our spirits actually came out to us on a previous tour...and said he was gay, and then to clarify for the disbelivievers amongst the group, said he was q***r! Being of that same vintage I was thrilled. And this time I made much a fuss prior to people arriving, playing disco tunes and having a dance. He was lighting up the K11's, tuning on torches...Brad and I were having a lovely time..but then the people arrived and I told them of my discovery...but I was also telling the public a secret that Mrs Austin didn't know. An embarrasing, scandolous dirty little secret! And now I was blurting it out to everyone it would seem...what a scandal...so she literally shut the communicaton down...Mr Austin had lost his voice. And I had offended a lady I greatly admire. Luckily for me, I had some very talented mediums in the group. So we all went upstairs to have a chat with Mrs Austin...or rather I did. She conveyed that her husbands coming out was news to her, it was embarrasing...she was mortified...as a lady of the early 19th century would have been. So I explained my situation...being gay, being bullied having no voice and that these days, it didn't by any means tarnish a reputation. That in these days we can legally get married and then I addressed the group and asked...is this coming out tarnishing the manor, or the family...to which the beautiful group beautifully responded with a resounding NOOO!! Brought a tear to my eye. I don't normally bang the gay drum but to be honest, I was offendend and let Mrs Austin know that I regarded her as a friend and her rejection and embarrasment of the secret was greatly offensive to me. Well she agreed...we both apologised to each other..we both talked about how great her husband was..but then come to think of it...he spent far too much time in front of the mirror worrying about his skin! Ha!.we made up and had a waltz in her room. Mrs Austin touched gently one of our girls on the face and was rocking the females in the group. Love you Mrs Austin!
And then in the stables...well, that's another story! Not particulary gay, or happy!
And Sid Sid Sid Sid Sid...Mr Sid Batson was really connecting with a few of our guests.

Jesus full moon or what! Rather crazy last night Sleep With the Bishops! But was always going to be with 13 gorgeous females entering the palace starting out with beautiful personal readings by Suzi at The Tarot Elf..and then,the games begun. Touches, footsteps, whispers, knocks, talking, stalking?, threats, gropes!!!..(not encouraged btw!), noise of kids laughing early morning, long scratching sounds on doors, audible female sighs from several of us including moiaround 530am, a delightful game of 2up with Bishops Michael who was actually protecting us with not one but two other Bishops both called James, spirit Liz virtually blanketing the place with her perfume...so so strong.. spirt David swinging cords, one of my ladies actually being held down in her bed resulting in her screaming for them to get off, therapy session for spirit Samantha stuck in grief with the loss of a new born, four of my group all piled in one room because they were too scared by new spirit Deborah seen as a menacing shadow figure and a threat by all with spirits getting on the spirit dial to pull in a Matronly heavy sw***er from Ararat who made an apperance to try and pull her off Spirit Samantha....don't ask me how I knew that... Was Deborah a soul collector? And did we really think her name was Deborah! People saw her moving in the hallway going from bathroom to bathroom...and we all heard her marching around!, Amanda Moo Lacey and Jo stopped only to take great photos. Such a fabulous intune group we had for our first night at Barwon Grange Paranormal Investigation 3 hours . So nice of National Trust to let us explore their Geelong homestead. Highlight was helping Annie the original 18th century owner move on. She had lost 3 oh her kids when she arrived in Victoria from the mother country and was stuck in guilt, despair and grief. We all felt her heavy heart but she couldn't have had a better bunch to listen, console and help her see the light. She thanked us as she left. Her husband John is still at his homestead..perhaps he will come and go now..it certainly felt pretty active. And such an interesting building saved from demolition by the trust. Thanks Katrina Novak for the pics!

Not sure what was trying to serve us a drink but I do know they were making lots of noises..taps and knocks and the blue tinsel curtains kept shimmering, temp gauges dropped and the rem pod was constantly beeping with excitement. We feel there is an ex drag spirit, a mafiosa gentleman, a Chinese gold miner downstairs who fights with his creepy guy that he spends time in the same space with, teenagers, a young 29 something year old who may have passed at the venue, and 13yrold girl who followed me from the Farmers Arms. What a lush, lovely place to explore and chat to the cabaret spirits in my favourite venue where I have danced many times on its old spring dance floor PALAIS PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION.
