Kubu Beach Club is must if staying at one of the Ayana Resorts. It’s accessible via 197 steps or a quick 35-second ride up and down AYANA’s inclinator. It had a funky caribbean feel , Indonesian cuisine and ice cold drinks , what more could you ask for !

After a big day yesterday today was started with a Zen morning starting with Yoga at 6:30 and a visit to Ayana’s private beach followed by travelling back to Bali!

Komodo National Park !

After a quick swim and snorkel at Pink beach it wasnon to see some dragons. We managed to see 4 which is apparently lucky . Next was on to Manta Point to snorkel with Manta ray however we didnt see Manta but snorkelled with turtles instead!

An amazing boat trip that had so many pinch me moments.

Komodo National Park - Padar Hike

Padar is a island located between Komodo and Rinca islands within Komodo archipelago.

It has four deep bays with beaches in different colors. Most of them are white sands, while some beaches have grey and pink sands.The sea surrounding the island has several sites popular for scuba diving and snorkelling.

🚨Update on Australia Passports

From July 1, 2024, 10 year passports that are issued from 16 years of age will increase by 15%. The current price is $346. After July 1st the price will be $398.

Children’s passports are currently $175 & issued for 5 years. These will also increase by 15% to $202.

From July 1st this year, people will also be able to pay an extra $100 to see their application processed within 5 business days.

The option already exists for people to pay a larger fee of $252 to have their application processed in 2 business days.

So if you need to update your passport do it before July 1 to avoid the price increase.

Everyone we encountered has been so friendly and we have been welcomed with open arms.

Some pics below of the children not sure what to do with the slippers I gave them from the hotel, they followed us around the market in 38 degrees with barefeet!

We felt like celebrities as everyone wanted photos with us .

Day 6 - Jaipur

Amber fort afternoon tour and dinner at 1135 AD Restaurant

The Fort is known for its artistic style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amber Palace.

Jaipur hosted lunch and inspection at the Raj Palace.

The oldest mansion in Jaipur, originally called ‘The Chaumoo Haveli’, it was built in 1727. It was named after the last ruler of Chaumoo, Thakur Raj Singh. In 1996, Princess Jayendra Kumari converted it into a luxurious palace hotel. It still retains the splendor and a lot of artefacts from the bygone era.

Day 6 - Jaipur City Palace

Built by Maharaja Sawai Jail Singh.

A royal residence and former administrative headquarters of the rulers of the Jaipur State.

It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family.

No photos were allowed to be taken in the rooms.

Day 6 - Jaipur city tour

City Wall, Hawa Mahal and Observatory

Hawa Mahal is the most well known architectural landmark in Jaipur. In the city’s signature pink colour it is a unique palace as it does not have any rooms or halls only windows and balconies.

The observatory was built in the 18th century built by Maharaja Jaipur Sign ll as he had a passion for science, engineering and Astronomy.

We had a quick hour walk around the Bazaar! Definitely needed more time to explore these markets. A must of here and be prepared to barter.

Day 5 - Jaipur

After our drive from Agra we had a hosted lunch and hotel inspection at the Oberoi. This property is truely spectacular!

Today we did a road trip from Agra to Jaipur which took 5 hours . So much to see along the road but traveling to quick to be able to capture it .

Today we visited a marble shop and learnt the tradition of how this skill has been passed down from generation to generation to the men in the family . The woman are not allowed to know this skill as they marry and may pass on the secrets!

Day 4 - Agra Red Fort

Mughal emperor Humayun was crowned at this fort.

It was later renovated by the Mughal emperor Akbar from 1565 and the present-day structure was completed in 1573.
It served as the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.
Before it was captured by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas.

In 1983, the Agra fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It is approx 2.5 kilometers northwest of the Taj Mahal.

Day 4 Agra Taj Mahal

One of the seven wonders of the world that symbolizes the love of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal’s after she died giving birth to her 14th child.

It was completed in 1653 , it is believed it took nearly 22 years to complete.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 1565, nine years after the death of Humayan. Often considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal owing to the stylistic similarity of its structures.

Day 2 - Delhi 3rd stop Chandni Chowk

Is the oldest and busiest wholesale market in Old Delhi and the world!

We went on rickshaws starting at the Sari market and finishing with the spice market and WOW what a smell , the scent of all the spices was amazing and really tickles your senses . I may have had a few sneezing fits along the way 🤣

Day 2 - Delhi 2nd stop Jama Mosque

The largest and most well known mosque in India. Built in the 17th century it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the demise of the empire in 1857.

Also one of the most crowded destinations in Delhi for pilgrims and tourists.
