Kubu Beach Club is must if staying at one of the Ayana Resorts. It’s accessible via 197 steps or a quick 35-second ride up and down AYANA’s inclinator. It had a funky caribbean feel , Indonesian cuisine and ice cold drinks , what more could you ask for !

Komodo National Park !

After a quick swim and snorkel at Pink beach it wasnon to see some dragons. We managed to see 4 which is apparently lucky . Next was on to Manta Point to snorkel with Manta ray however we didnt see Manta but snorkelled with turtles instead!

🚨Update on Australia Passports

From July 1, 2024, 10 year passports that are issued from 16 years of age will increase by 15%. The current price is $346. After July 1st the price will be $398.

Children’s passports are currently $175 & issued for 5 years. These will also increase by 15% to $202.

From July 1st this year, people will also be able to pay an extra $100 to see their application processed within 5 business days.

The option already exists for people to pay a larger fee of $252 to have their application processed in 2 business days.

So if you need to update your passport do it before July 1 to avoid the price increase.

Everyone we encountered has been so friendly and we have been welcomed with open arms.

Some pics below of the children not sure what to do with the slippers I gave them from the hotel, they followed us around the market in 38 degrees with barefeet!

Jaipur hosted lunch and inspection at the Raj Palace.

The oldest mansion in Jaipur, originally called ‘The Chaumoo Haveli’, it was built in 1727. It was named after the last ruler of Chaumoo, Thakur Raj Singh. In 1996, Princess Jayendra Kumari converted it into a luxurious palace hotel. It still retains the splendor and a lot of artefacts from the bygone era.

A royal residence and former administrative headquarters of the rulers of the Jaipur State.

It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family.

City Wall, Hawa Mahal and Observatory

Hawa Mahal is the most well known architectural landmark in Jaipur. In the city’s signature pink colour it is a unique palace as it does not have any rooms or halls only windows and balconies.

Mughal emperor Humayun was crowned at this fort.

It was later renovated by the Mughal emperor Akbar from 1565 and the present-day structure was completed in 1573.
It served as the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.
Before it was captured by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas.

In 1983, the Agra fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It is approx 2.5 kilometers northwest of the Taj Mahal.

We went on rickshaws starting at the Sari market and finishing with the spice market and WOW what a smell , the scent of all the spices was amazing and really tickles your senses . I may have had a few sneezing fits along the way 🤣
