Just when you think you have seen it all a foggy autumn day can pull out all the stops and still surprise us
Thanks to Leanne for being adventurous enough to start things off with a 7:30 am tour
The fog was slowly lifting on the Tamar as we started and the variety and numbers of bird life was remarkable
5 pelicans and a 50 little black cormorants greeted us first up
A white Egret and a bunch of crows alerted up to a juvenile Sea Eagle feeding at the rivers edge. The regular seagulls, pacific gulls and black swans were also in large numbers
We passed Kings Bridge and found Pied Cormorants and large flock of Cockatoos
The afternoon tours revealed two adult Sea Eagles and a few of the Pelicans
I can only assume there may be lots of small bait fish around to bring them all to visit
To top it all off we had a large fur seal make an appearance for the afternoon tour
The weather was mild and graced us with great sunrise and sunsets
we will be offering tours all winter so com beat the cabin fever with us
