Conditions of travel
To travel with us you need to be able to show your vaccination status, as it is a condition of entry to venues.
Showing proof of vaccination at venues
Wineries, cellar doors and restaurants and similar.
Venues may ask to see proof you’ve checked in using the Service Victoria app, and your proof of vaccination. When you show them your check-in confirmation screen, they’ll see your vaccination status if you’ve linked your COVID-19 digital certificate to the Service Victoria app.
The confirmation screen shows a green tick to show that you've checked in, your name and the words 'valid certificate'.
Businesses can’t keep or store this information; they are simply sighting it to check your vaccination status.
Other eligible proof of COVID-19 vaccination:
• COVID-19 digital certificate saved to a smartphone wallet.
• Printed copy of COVID-19 digital certificate together with a valid photo ID.
• Printed copy of immunisation history statement together with a valid photo ID.
• Medical exemption together with a valid photo ID.
