Thank you to all the beautiful couples who sort out Joncia Gardens to share their most special day in their lives. Also the celebrants and photographers, and so many more people who loved coming to visit.
Doomsday has come and gone and the rotten government certainly had a win.
The last 9 months had been so traumatic for us firstly trying to find another property and then the huge move. Thirty three years of treasured belongings which made up the infrastructure of Joncia Gardens had to be ripped out and either sold or stored, and the heat and rain was relenting.
My visits to Joncia Gardens in the last 2 months have showed me how callous people can be. Not only have they come in all hours of the day and night to thieve, but also to discard all of their rubbish all over it. It is just a tragic sight.
Poor John’s health has certainly has taken a downward spiral ending up in hospital and losing 12 kilos, which he really couldn’t afford to lose.
Does the government care? Not one bit!! They are rubbing their hands together in victory. My wish for the rotters is that they suffer in one form or another the same way we have had to in the last 9 months, and at our ages, we will never be able to match what we accomplished when we had our strength and youth.
Through their incompetence of not land banking for a school that blind Freddy could have seen the development in the area, we have lost a beautiful wedding venue, a place where retirement villages visited frequently, a place where people held services for their loved ones funerals, and also brought their ashes back, a place where we held fund raising dances and lots more. The community had to lose through the governments ‘stuff up’.
Damm them is all I can say!!!😡
I would like to thank all our dear friends and family who helped throughout this horrid time, with moving and just being there for support. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. We could not have managed without you. ❤️
I should add to let you know that the heartless mongrels didn’t even give us the land value that the developers offered. They stole it from us in other words. We weren’t compensated for anything on top of the land. 😡
And don’t even try fighting them, you will NEVER win.

When I asked Shelly & Jason to share some things that they love about each other with me, they both mentioned each others’ eyes and smile; and Shelly even described how Jason’s smile takes over his whole face and becomes her whole world. Aaaaawwwwwww.

Our "Secret Lovers Garden Arbour" screams RRRRomance, smothering 3 sides of our Arbour in Blush & Rose Pinks, Plums and Burgundies, Ivory and Dark Green Foliages.
