The Low Head Lighthouse stands guard, a beacon of beauty in the Northern Tasmanian serene

Dating back to 1805, the Low Head Pilot Station is Australia's oldest continuously used pilot station. With its historic buildings and the nearby Maritime Museum housed in the 1835 Pilots' Row, it's a must-visit for history buffs. This area encapsulates the maritime history of the region and offers insight into the lives of the pilots who guided ships through the Tamar River.
