Diabetes is one of the most significant health issues facing our community.

PolliePedal’25 is a unique 3-day road cycling event designed for cyclists who are seeking a relaxing but sometimes challenging ride through the beautiful Tasmanian landscape. Most importantly it is about raising awareness of diabetes within the local schools, groups, and communities we visit and raise much needed funds to support all people living with diabetes, or at high risk of developing diabetes 🙂

The riders from the Pollie Pedal Tasmania 2025 ride will be visiting our park on Friday 28th February on their annual event this year.
The community BBQ on Friday evening will be a great opportunity to get involved and learn a little more about Diabetes.
Join us to support and learn more about Diabetes in Tasmania.

We have had a great long weekend on the park. We really enjoyed organsing the events for Australia Day and love that so many guests joined in the fun.
Who knew you could have so much fun making a cuppa?
The Great Aussie Thong Toss was lots of fun. The blue thongs clearly had better aerodynamic qualities.
The best event of the day was the inaugural running of the The Low Head Guineas. Some great ideas went into the designing of the horses for the running.
Congratulations to the Best in Show and the winner of the race. We can't wait for next years race.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our guests. We have $212 from our BBQ that will be donated to Down Syndrome Tasmania.
We hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend and we can't wait to see you again.

Come and join us on the park for some delicious food from Seasons Pantry and Chilli Willi Soft Serve.

Seasons Pantry offering include:

Friday night
Beer battered fish and chips with homemade tartare & mint crushed peas
Squid with Greek salad

Saturday night
Chicken schnitzel with chips gravy and salad
Chicken parmigiana with chips and salad (Ham, pineapple and cheese or classic, tomato sauce, ham and cheese)

Both nights
Pork belly Bah-mi roll with pate and pickles
Loaded chips with BBQ pulled beef, cheese, pickles and sour cream
Cauliflower popcorn with sriracha mayo
Chips with homemade tomato sauce
Or gravy
Salty pork scratchings
Kids fish and chips with homemade tomato sauce.

Finish off with a delicious Chilli Willi Soft Serve ice cream. 🧁
