Meet our 2025 Seniors Leadership Team
We are thrilled to announce our Seniors leadership heavy hitters for the 2025 season!
🏉 Head Coach – Ryan Dawson
Ryan Dawson, a Rockingham legend with over 200 First XV games, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our club’s culture. A multiple championship winner with Rocky, Dawson has also represented RugbyWA at junior and senior levels and played abroad in England. As a coach, he has guided premiership and championship-winning teams, and his vision for 2025 includes fostering a strong and united club culture and leading the men’s sides to victory in both grades.
🏉 Team Manager – Robert Watson
With an impressive 321 senior games since 2005, Robbie has been a cornerstone of the club for nearly two decades. Off the field, he has served in numerous key RRUFC committee roles, including Senior Vice President, and is known for preserving and organising the club’s history for future playing generations. His goal for 2025 is to enjoy the season while continuing to leave the club in a better place for our up and coming players and members.
🏉 Team Manager – Nathan Gould
A rugby export from New Zealand’s Hawkes Bay Region, Nathan first joined the Perth rugby scene in 1999, playing for Mandurah Pirates, Rockingham, and Associates before retiring in 2007. As a former captain and coach of Mandurah Catholic College’s First XV, he graduated with honours in rugby. Returning to Rockingham Rugby in 2023, Nathan brings leadership, experience, and the ongoing support of his family business as a key club sponsor.
Together, this dynamic Seniors Leadership Team combines extensive playing and coaching expertise, a deep commitment to club culture, and a shared vision for growth and teamwork.
