Last minute Australia Day weekend availability at Stirling Homestead! 🇦🇺🦘

Still thinking of what to do Aus Day weekend? We have last minute availability at our Airbnb for the WHOLE property (Stirling homestead, baringa cottage & Jumbuck cottage). There’s plenty to do and see in Mansfield from checking out the furry (& scaly) animals at Mansfield Zoo, skiing or swimming in Lake Eildon, morning coffee run at The Coffee Merchant, wine tasting at Delatite Winery or a relaxing stroll along the Great Victorian Rail Trail. With the added bonus of having a drink in our very own Barrel House Bar at the end of the day or saying hello to our beautiful stallion Ben & future mountain horses!

One out of the box! Yesterday we helped pull off the perfect high country wedding where the bride didn’t actually know she was a bride!
We headed off, for what Frankie thought was a half day ride over Mt Stirling, only to be surprised & greeted by her close friends and family & a celebrant at the summit of Mt Stirling.
It was Frankie & Wayne’s perfect day surrounded by their close friends, family and a mob of horses. We managed to get the most perfect, crystal clear day to soak up the spectacular mountain backdrop.
We then headed back to our property, Stirling Homestead for dinner at the bar, thanks Lou for cooking up a storm with her trusty sidekick Gwen!
Big thank you to the celebrant Cheryl Warry, Steve Marshall of High Country Scenic Tours & the Crowe girls to help pull off this special day for Wayne and Frankie! 🙌
