Transport services, including flights, have been impacted. Contact your airline for further information. Monitor local media for updates and follow the instructions of local authorities.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY TRAVEL TIPS 📝

1. Pre-book airport parking
Melbourne Airport is currently undergoing construction to upgrade facilities for guests. This has resulted in a number of parking spaces being closed for the foreseeable future. To avoid stress, pre-book your parking to ensure spaces will be available when you are travelling.

2. Arrive early
Airports are extra busy over holiday periods, particularly Christmas! Arriving to the airport with plenty of time will enable you to easily find a carpark and make your way through security before your flight. Here are our recommendations:
International Economy Class - 3.5 hours prior to departure
International Business Class - 2.5 hours prior to departure
Domestic Class - a minimum of 1.5 hours prior to departure

3. Utilise Online Check-In
Check-in online for all flights where possible. This can be accessed via your airlines 'Online Check-In' link. To access your booking, use your airline booking reference and your surname. You will be able to access and amend seating and meal preferences and view any time changes.

Also Double Check:
- Dates and times are correct
- Passport validity (you must have 6 months validity from your return into Australia)
- You have applied for any necessary visas
- Have you checked with your doctor if you need a letter for any prescription medication that you take?

The Lotte World Tower Sky Bridge Tour is a staggering 555m high and you not only go this high, but then walk across the bridge connecting the two sides 😬😬

This was an absolute highlight for me - I’m a bit nervous of heights, but actually you’re so well strapped in, that it’s completely fine. The views are amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of friends to do this with 🥰

I want to take a moment to talk about the importance of local guides on your travels - and a good local guide!

Leah, our fabulous Korean guide, travelled with us from Seoul on Day 2 through to our last night in Seoul. Her indepth knowledge, her kind and caring nature, her stories and her willingness to share the Korean history with us, absolutely was a highlight of our travels this week.

Haedong Yonggunsa Temple claims to be the most beautiful temple in South Korea - and it certainly was one of my favourites.

This temple’s history stretches back to the Goryeo Dynasty of the 4th century and is perched on the edge of Busan’s stunning coastline. This temple is one of only three temples dedicated to the Goddess Buddha of Mercy - and is an incredible setting.
