If you sit out on the verandah at one of our cottages, chances are you will spot this gorgeous girl and her mate patrolling the grounds looking for tasty bugs. These two have owned our place for longer than we have 😂 4 weeks ago she could not stand on that left leg at all. We spotted her hopping on the right one with the left tucked up. Not sure what happened but we didn’t intervene, just kept an eye on her. It’s been a slow recovery and might never be perfect but this week she started walking on it and this morning I saw her collecting strings and sticks to build a nest. We might even get another baby this year 😍

The girls are back in production after their yearly egg holiday #chickentown #homegrowneggs

Tadpoles! There’s a pretty solid frog chorus here in the evenings 😂
