Lover of both art and film? This one's for you! 🙋

In May 2023, 13 sculptures were placed on the seabed near the end of Busselton Jetty, including pieces by Open Studios artists, Georgia Zoric, Brendan Booth of Margaret River Sculpture Park and Wood Be Good Woodcraft Gallery and Alan Meyburgh Visual Artist Meyburgh.

A documentary about the project will premiere at CinefestOZ Film Festival on 2 September. A Sea Of Discovery will showcase the journey from inception to deployment of the underwater sculptures.

Our Young Readers & Writers Program brings children’s authors into primary and secondary schools to spark creativity, celebrate storytelling and foster a love of reading and writing.

The program runs for two weeks from 12 – 23 May 2025, with MRRWF 2025 held on 16-18 May 2025.

The program will visit schools in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River, City of Busselton, Bunbury, Augusta and surrounding areas.

The program is proudly supported by Lotterywest, Rotary Club of Margaret River, Rotary Club of Busselton Geographe Bay, Doral Mineral Sands and the Lions Clubs of Margaret River & Cowaramup.
