The gorgeous area of Bunbury is home to the largest street and public art collection in regional Australia, with urban art scattered throughout the town
One of these is the striking Wardandi Boodja at Koombana Bay. Created by artists Nicole and Alex Mickle, the artwork seeks to pay respect and celebrate to the original inhabitants of the region, the Noongar nation. The face isn't of one particular person - instead, photographs dating from the 1870s to the early 1900s were studied, and images and faces of Noongar people were analysed to create a composite of the many Noongar families of the region.

If it’s your first time visiting the Margaret River wine region, you’re in for a treat.
❤️ Our grapes are often grown on gently undulating hills, making it a really pretty destination
🚙 Even driving is a joy ~ past towering eucalypts, picture-perfect vineyards and ocean glimpses
🥂 The majority of wineries are still family owned and operated, making for a very personal and genuine experience
⭐ Margaret River might only harvest around 2% of Australia’s total wine crush, but a staggering 20% of the premium wine
Pictured here? Vasse Felix, Margaret River’s very first winery, planted just over 50 years ago. A lovely spot for a visit! 🍷❤️

All set up and ready ~ do you think our guests will love it? 🍷
Vasse Felix sommelier Evan Gill didn't just let us taste the wines, he described how the whole process of growing the wines right through to pairing with food can impact their flavour and mouthfeel. Which left us with a better appreciation of how to select and serve our favourite drops!
Long vineyard lunches, garden picnics and fine dining experiences—Margaret River's winery scene has something for every occasion and level of wine expertise. Whether you're looking for a private bespoke experience or to join a small group tour, we pride ourselves on excellent touring and storytelling.

Situated not far from Margaret River township you'll find Edwards Wines, a family owned winery daring to do things differently. Wine lovers swoon over their classics (Chardonnay, Cabernet) but it's the wines aged on the ocean floor that are getting us excited.🍷
We popped in for a wine tasting, and caught a glimpse of ‘Matilda’, the Tiger Moth flown by Brian Edwards from London to Perth in 1990. What an epic adventure it must have been!
One of our favourite pit stops on our 3-day Margaret River tour - @brownhillestate 🍷
The family-run vineyard is nestled in the charming village of Rosa Brook, just a short drive from Margaret River township.
Not only do we adore their manicured vineyards, but the award-winning winery also has a lovely quaint cellar door and rustic jarrah tasting bench, where you can sip your way through their wines.
