G’day Fellow Fisher-persons,
We have a coupla few spots available on the boat this coming Sunday 26th Australia Day. Our aim is to catch some fish and have a good time, pull the p**s, whilst you enjoy a couple bevies.
$295.00 per person for the full day.
I thought the accompanying photo was relevant due to the reckless young hooligans and their Aussie occa attitude - with reference to Australia Day.

Today’s early North Easterly turned the KG’s off the bite this morning for Tim, Albert, Micheal, Daniel and Mark.
They did manage a handful but nothing to write home about for our 3 Canadian guests.
We did manage some nice Nannies and a decent Gummy.

It was Chris, Ashley, Mark, Josh, Caleb and Dave’s turn to spend the day as our guests catching fish.
Needless to say they caught their bag of good Nannies. They then added to the Nannie’s with KG’s, Trevaly, Squid and a reasonable Gummy.
Big shoutout to the Biggest Little fisher person Caleb celebrating his 13th birthday, this Saturday - have a great day mate.

Marina, Jen, Declan, Julien, Sam and Michael joined us, to catch KG’s today.
We contended with a persistently stiff South Wester all day, which made it hard to keep your lines tight. The crew battled on and achieved a more than successful result.

Gina, Alex, Faye, Xavier and John joined us for a bag of very nice sized Nannie’s, a heap of KG’s and a couple of nice Lizards.

Today we had Scooter Lycett, Grubby Grey and Matt Rosie out for a crack at the fish (That’s the last time I order a Power midfield off of TEMU), Wrong Rosie, Wrong Grey and an old Ruckman. They would be a Country Football Clubs dream team, not sure which Country!
Needless to say, wall to wall Nannie’s and big Salmon up to 4kg.
Probably a few too many frothies and laughs.

Thomas, Dianne and Sid spent the day with us on the boat, while little brother Peter and Dad (Chris) stayed on land. The crew tried hard all day for a reasonable feed of fish.
Unfortunately no matter what I did or where I went I just couldn’t produce the goods. Something was not right in my fishing world today. It certainly wasn’t lack of effort.

Today we were joined by Southern Yorke’s locals Tylah, Jay, Adam, Brenton, Wayne and Nick.
Large quantities of XL Lizzards, XL Nannie’s, KG’s and Beer was the theme for the day.
The banter was next level and down right cutting at time.
Great memories made with this crew.

Today we had Cheyenne, Jarrod, Nick Jaidyn and Peter out for the day. There was a reasonable swell running and 2 of the crew succumbed to seasickness. The moral of the story is, if you have never been on a boat before, it might be worth leaving the CC’s alone the night before.

New Deckie today - Tommy one of my 3 Grandsons.
Chris, Tiny, Kingy, Mingy and Chris joined us for a late 11.00am start, due to snotty weather. The little fellow Tiny out done himself by catching a legal Cray on his Whitting rod. A bit blustery, but the boys prevailed. Lots of laughter and fun.

Today we had David, Alex, Nathan and Pam out for the day. KG’s came over the side pretty consistently until we had our bag. Someone forgot to tell the Nannie’s to cooperate - they were nothing short of hard work.
It was a great day with good people.

The boys from Cleary Plumbing joined us today for their Christmas show. Dam fine effort from the management- Weekend away and a Charter, excellent work. They are an Adelaide based company, so if you need a Plumber give them a yell.
The team consisted of Matt (the Boss), Joel, Jet, Wardy, Jimmy and Trumby. Nice bag of Nannie’s and a couple of nice Mowie’s.
Special thank you to the Legend, the Lunch Box, my Son In-Law “Nutsak” for driving down and decking at short notice.
Side Note - The business lost money today on Rigs, Sinkers and Hooks.

Today I was graced with the Mighty Pirie Lions B Grade runner up and the runner up to the runner up B & F. Skater, Matt, Nick and Lash bagged on KG’s and Nannie’s, a couple of nice Lizzards and some Squid to celebrate Lash’s up and coming wedding. Lots of neck oil and laughs.

Peter, Dave and Brent joined us for a day on the briney. We managed a bag of nice sized KG’s and a good feed of large squid. Unfortunately the swell and 15+ knot South Easterly kept us away from the Nannies - next time.

Today’s work was the recovery job of a Jet ski, that was washed up on the beach near West Cape after being wiped out in the surf. The job was inside Innes National Park. It was a job that needed to be done to prevent environmental damage to this delicate ecosystem.
