It's hard to believe we've been hosting guests in our Glamping Tent for just over seven years now.

That's seven years filled with Christmas celebrations under twinkling lights, Easter long weekends indulging in chocolate treats and sunny adventures, and countless special occasions that have brought so much joy to our guests in the quaint little town of Marion Bay. We've had the honour of being part of birthdays that marked milestones, anniversaries celebrating years of love, proposals that began lifelong journeys, and honeymoons filled with romance and new memories ❤

Each stay creates a unique story for our guests, and making those moments unforgettable has become a passion deeply rooted in my heart. We want every guest to feel the warmth and magic of Bayside Glamping—a place where you can unwind, connect, and create memories you’ll treasure forever.

Let’s talk about progress 🌿

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that things rarely go according to schedule. And honestly, that’s not just true for building a house—it applies to so many parts of life.

We’d sit down and plan, saying, “Tiling will take this many days, this part will take that many days,” and so on. Looking back, those conversations feel almost funny now! Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and you just have to roll with it.

Expenses pile up faster than you expect, and December and January feel like they vanish in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, February is around the corner, and there’s still so much left to do!

That said, we’ve made some exciting progress and are eager to shift into high gear to get everything finished as soon as possible. With that in mind, we’re setting our new launch date for early April.

Thank you so much for following along and for all your kind words of support—it truly means the world to us!

I've been a little quiet this past week, balancing a mix of activities—cleaning to welcome guests, spending quality time with family at the beach, and enjoying celebrating with loved ones. We also had the pleasure of catching up with our primary school friend and her husband visiting from overseas. It was so cool to give them a tour of The Sanctuary, and hear what they've been up to since we last caught up 🥰

Stepping away from social media and laptop work has been refreshing, giving my mind some much-needed rest, especially as I prepare to run the Marion Bay Maker’s Market this Saturday 💕

We were thrilled to host wonderful guests in our Glamping Tent and Tiny House over Christmas, adding a touch of festive cheer to their stay and surprising them with some delicious cupcakes from .x. Thought I'd share a few photos 🎄... it was more magical in person ✨️

Here’s to 2025! I’m looking forward to a healthier year, more present moments with my family, a holiday with my bestie, my sister’s wedding, and, of course, finally finishing The Sanctuary 🌿 and with that, the launch of our new Bayside Glamping song 🎶
