Day 3 started with a tour of the Gilbert’s motor museum and Strathalbyn town talk, followed by lunch at the grand “Glenbarr” homestead and then on to the beautiful town of Hahndorf. South Australia has definitely turned on the weather for us ☀️

Day 1 and day 2 of our Murray bridge tour has seen us see some fantastics sights. The weather has been amazing, the company on the coach fantastic and the food mostly great. Monato zoo and the stalking of the coach by the cheetahs has been a highlight so far and the river cruise serene and relaxing.

Disappointed this morning to arrive at our depot and find some grubs have broken into our office overnight and destroyed it. Nothing stolen but everything trashed. They put a hose in through the window and flooded it then set off the fire extinguisher destroying alot of our paperwork ( luckily we have copies ). Just senseless destruction of property for no reason. It's in the hands of the police.

Massive shout out to Nathan and the team at NPM Diesel .
When our Mercedes coach went down 3 weeks ago with a broken gearbox we thought we had no chance of getting it back in time for the big VLine shut down starting tomorrow and with 5 coaches running on it every day you can imagine the stress levels.
Nathan and his team have gotten the box out, had it fully rebuilt and back in the coach by tonight. A massive undertaking.
A fantastic local business going above and beyond and we really appreciate it.

Day 5 Merimbula Tour. Today's adventures took us to Potaroo Wildlife Sanctuary were we got to see many native animals to Australia including the gorgeous potaroo. Some of us enjoyed the leisurely train ride. Next stop was in Candelo for lunch at the local pub. We then travelled down to Bemboka to the Ryefield Hops where we learnt about growing hops and tasted some local brewed beers. We then jumped back onto the snowy mountain hwy and travelled back down to Bega then onto Merimbula. Having to reverse the coach 600m to get to the Wharf Aquarium and restaurant for our final meal in Merimbula overlooking the stunning twofold Bay.

Merimbula Day 4 - what an amazing day with some unbelievable memories we will take home from our whale watching cruise. Seas were a little choppy which meant the whales were active and WOW did they put on a show for us today. The afternoon was spent with free time to wander the local shopping district and support the local economy. The later part of the afternoon we were joined on the coach with a local historian and took in some of the sights of Merimbula followed by a delicious din er at the Tura Beach country club. Now for the weather update, the rains have held off for most of the day but it has been steadily raining since 4pm
