New Changes from 1st July 2024
Student Visa
1. Visa application Charges increased – Student Visa
From $710 to $1600 (New Fee From 1st July 2024)
2. Visitor Visa Holders and TR 485 Visa holders CAN NOT apply for a Student visa ONSHORE. (VISA Hopping is CLOSED for ONSHORE applicants.)
TR – 485 Visa
3. Maximum Age to apply TR – 485 Visa – 35 years
a. Master (research) a Doctor Degree (PhD) – still 50 Years
4. TR 485 – Graduate Stream is now Post – Vocational Education Stream
5. TR 485 – Post-Study Work Stream is now Post-Higher Education Work Stream
6. Replacement Stream for TR 485 Visa is closed from 1st of July 24.
7. NIL VAC Fee – TR 485 – Extension for Specific Qualifications holders is CLOSED from 1st July 2024.
Subclass 476 Visa
8. Skilled Recognised Graduate (476) Visa – Closed from 1st of July
Subclass 417 – Working Holiday Visa
9. UK Passport Holder – Three Working Holiday Visa will be GRANTED, meeting specific work requirements.
Subclass 462 – Work and Holiday Visa
10. Philippines Passport Holders are included for this visa subclass.
Employer-Sponsored Visa (Subclass 457, TSS 482, ENS 186, RSMS 494 )
11. TSMIT increased to $73150 from 1st July 2024
12. Changes to visa conditions 8107, 8607 and 8608
• Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457)
• Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482)
• Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (provisional) visa (subclass 494)
If you are holding these visas and stop working for your employer, you will have
180 days at a time or
a maximum of 365 days in total across the entire visa grant period
To find a new employer, you can work for any employer and in any occupation during this time.
Australian Citizenship
Application fee increased from 1st July 2024
Now Standard Fee is $560 (Increased by $20 AUD)
AAT Fee Increase
AAT Fee is now $3496 from 1st July 2024.
