Stop at traditional tea houses, temples, and gardens that make Kyoto what it is today. We try our hand at traditional sumi painting under the expert guidance of accomplished local artist Saori . Kyoto flourishes as a cultural, religious and economic center with vast array of world heritage sites. We focus on exploring the art and cultural highlights of Kyoto, Osaka and Nara - A not be to missed autumn clad mountain region of Arashiyama. The historic township of Hoi An is the "Jewel in the Crown" of Vietnam. Graceful historic Hoi An is Vietnam’s most atmospheric and delightful town. Once a major port, it boasts the grand architecture and beguiling riverside setting that befits its heritage and where the 21st-century curses of traffic and pollution are almost entirely absent. Whether you’ve as little as a day or as long as a month in the town, it is time well spent. A revival of fortunes has preserved the face of the Old Town and its incredible legacy of tottering Japanese merchant houses, Chinese temples and ancient tea warehouses – you’ll find some superb bicycle, motorbike and boat trips – and some of central Vietnam’s most enticing, bucolic scenery and beaches are within easy reach. Angkor Wat and the many surrounding temples are an amazing holiday destination, something to be discovered and explored. Our holidays take in all that is on offer of the grand temples of Angkor. We tour selected temples with our temple guide and travel mostly in the local Tuk Tuks - a great way to get around. Our artist takes us for daily classes and a Master Class in watercolour and pen & ink sketching. We visit the Great Lake Tonle Sap and the Stilted village, local cuisine, country farmers markets and of course there is time to relax by the pool or shop. Battambang is the old capital and offers a beautiful stay close to the Sanger River and old city area.
