Big thanks to Paul and the team at Spirit Tech we got to test out The Music Box tonight and wow, what a brilliant bit of gear.

It’s a modern take on a classic paranormal tool, but with so much more control and flexibility. The motion detection is bang-on, and the fact that you can upload your own tracks via USB-C or swap out the micro-SD makes it incredibly customisable depending on your location and vibe. We played around with different modes and the responsiveness was flawless.

Super easy to use, solid build, and it just feels like a proper piece of kit. If you're serious about your investigations, definitely check it out. This is going straight into our regular lineup.

Famous Faces of Black Rock House!
In 1931 Professor Peter MacCallum purchased Black Rock House in an attempt to restore it to its former glory as by this point, it was virtually in ruin and had been up for demolition on various occasions. He started to restore the property as his home. If the name sounds familiar to you, then you are not alone. Born in 1886 in Glasgow Scotland, his family immigrated to New Zealand. After studying medicine in England, he worked in General Practice for 6 months before being called up for service in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He won the Military Cross for his time served in World War 1 on the Western front. He was sent home after being gassed and began focusing his attention on pathology. He went on to win the seat of the chair of pathology at Melbourne University and supported the proposal for a new medical school leading to the Royal Melbourne Hospital being located closer to the university. Peter was dean of the Faculty of Medicine, chair of the Professorial Board, and a member of Council. He also chaired the Anti-Cancer Council of Victoria. He was knighted in 1953 for his contribution to health and education. His legacy is a world-leading cancer center where humanity, care, and research are valued equally. Sir Peter MacCallum believed that nothing but the best was good enough in cancer care - also known as Peter Mac.

This is full day event, which will include a mix of presentations, workshops, training, Q&A panels, and so much more. There will be some stalls from the presenters on site with everything from books to equipment and much more.

Meet others in this fascinating field over a coffee between the presentations.

A wide array and variety of topics to do with the paranormal and spiritual will be presented at each event, including topics such as hauntings, ufology, equipment, experiences, investigative techniques and so much more, so there is something for everyone and for every experience level.

Light lunch is included as well as tea and coffee will also be available all day.

There will also be door prizes and special offers to those that attend.
