The Department of Immigration in Australia is making the visa systems and process more efficient, resulting in significant decreases in the average time it takes to process various types of visas.
These include:
Student visas, which now take an average of 16 days.
Temporary Skilled Shortage 482 visas, which are processed within 21 days.
Employer Sponsored Skilled program visas for healthcare and education, now processed within one day.
Working Holiday visas for those outside of Australia, also processed within one day.
