Magical Moment this Morning! 🪄
My room mate and I managed to meet Oswald the Lucky Rabbit 🐰
For those who do not know the history of this character let me enlighten you!
Oswald was in fact the very first character Walt Disney created. However he did not own anything to do with Oswald in which became a massive financial failure for Walt. Walt needed to create an income for himself and began creating new characters as he was at risk of bankruptcy. One particular character stuck and is now the most popular and world famous character on earth, Mickey Mouse. Afraid of making the same mistake again Walt ensured he owned everything involving Mickey and that is how the Walt Disney Company began what the company is known today! 🤯
Eventually the company was able to buy back Oswald which is how I get to meet him 🥰
The Walt Disney Company is celebrating it’s 100 year anniversary and I am delighted to be about of an exciting milestone for the company as a Castmember! 🎉
They say it all started with a mouse, but in reality it started with a rabbit! 🥕
