60 Seconds with Tamang Villages
A month ago we were soaking up the sunshine in Nepal. I’ve posted a short video here with a few special moments from the Kathmandu Valley part of our journey, while researching new walking trails and meeting the locals. Most of this was filmed while walking between Tamang villages.
Because I spend so much of my time in the Annapurnas, it’s a real treat to return to the lush green forests and fields of Kathmandu Valley. Especially in Spring when the flowers are in full boom, and the rhododendron forests are just bursting with colour. March and April are peak times for flowers, which is great for us and even better for the local wildlife!
We’re opening bookings for the March 2023 “Slow walking in Nepal” trip, which as the name suggests is very gentle and filled with great scenery, and some amazing parts of the Annapurnas. The walking is mostly very short, just a few hours each day. Some days there are hills and that does get more challenging, but we take it slow, we take breaks, and we take in all that makes a slow travel journey worthwhile :)

Still my favie moment of the entire trip :)

Himalayas in Winter
You don't have to tackle Everest just to enjoy Nepal, in fact for most of us it's better if you don't. Gentle walks and stunning mountain peaks are just some of the charms in the Annapurnas.
