Reminder of work conditions for student visa holders. We are hearing a lot about student visa cancellations due to breaching work conditions!

If you are studying a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course (e.g. Certificates, Diploma):
Main student visa holder: Can work up to 48 hours per fortnight when course is in session. Can work unlimited hours when no course is in session.
Dependant student visa holder: Limited to 48 hours of work per fortnight at all times.

If you are studying a Bachelor Degree:
Main student visa holder: Can work up to 48 hours per fortnight when course is in session. Can work unlimited hours when no course is in session.
Dependant student visa holder: Limited to 48 hours of work per fortnight at all times.

If you are studying a Master Degree by Coursework:
Main student visa holder: Can work up to 48 hours per fortnight when course is in session. Can work unlimited hours when no course is in session.
Dependant student visa holder: Unrestricted working hours at all times.
