It was fantastic to be interviewed on the @tourismhubpodcast by the wonderful @despinakaratzias from @instituteofexcellencehq and delve into the purpose of WAM going deep into having a positive impact on all aspects of how we operate.

Today is International Biodiversity Day 2023, so what better time to show one of the key projects WAM supports as part of the WAM 4 Project.
The Nature Conservancy Australia are restoring and rebuilding over 60 reefs in Southern Australia, regenerating entire ecosystems, and are also planting kelp forests, which as well as supporting countless marine life, filters the seawater and removes nitrogen and phosphate.
The reef in this beauitful footage is located Port Phillip Bay (Nerm) right by where WAM run our ocean adventures on the Mornington Peninsula so we are dedicated to helping to support and protect these waters by setting ambitious goals to restore of over an acre of reef by 2030.
Every time we welcome a WAM guest on an adventure tour with us, you are also contributing to amazing projects like this.

Wildlife Wednesday’s with WAM!
Filmed on our Mornington Peninsula Adventure: the echidna! (or in this case the biggest echidna we have ever seen!)
>
>
These legends of animals are most closely related to a platypus! They are also ecosystem engineers due to their digging and moving soil.
>
>
We don’t guarantee wildlife sightings like this (although we take you to spots we know where you have a great chance), but when you do see incredible wildlife in the wild like the echidna, it’s guaranteed to make your day.
