Melbourne guitar wizard and superlative songsmith Jeff Lang has enjoyed an extraordinary career spanning over 32 albums and gaining three ARIA’s along the way.
He spent much of 2021 bravely persevering with a 39-date national tour to promote the publication of his first book “Some Memories Never Die”.
Never one to stand still - even in the face of some of the longest lockdowns in the world -Jeff devised a new project at home with his partner Alison Ferrier. That project, High Ace, released their debut album in 2022 and Jeff also introduced a new limited-edition album of instrumental 12 string guitar music to his fans.
Jeff is currently in the throes of another extraordinary major release.

Adalita is a formidable Australian rock icon. She has cemented her well-earned place in the music industry as a highly respected solo artist, since first exploding into the local consciousness back in 1991 as a founding member and principal songwriter of multi-ARIA Award nominated band Magic Dirt.

2022 saw the much-anticipated release of Adalita’s third solo album, Inland. Shimmering with introspection, the record benefits from a solid gestation period, and bristles with raw emotion, cerebral lyrics, and her trademark kick-in-the-guts guitar and garnered critical
acclaim from fans and press alike. This dynamic new work is a layered exploration of self, a tribute to a certain time and place, an analysis of infatuation and obsession, and a celebration of the empowerment of letting go.

For these intimate regional shows, Adalita looks forward to playing songs from her new album, INLAND, and a few old favourites in close up and personal solo mode.

The former front man from Weddings, Parties, Anything will be playing alongside his Roving Commission compatriot Brooke Taylor (who’s second solo album recently clocked in at a very respectable #8 on the Aria Charts). On this week’s show, our special guest will be a legend of the Australian country music scene. One of Australia’s most recorded songwriters, Allan Caswell has (and continues to have) a music career that has spanned more than 50 years. Earlier this year he was elevated to the Australian Country Music Roll of Renown.

Caswell’s performing and writing career has taken him all over Australia and around the world. Best known for his iconic song "On The Inside" (the theme from Prisoner), Caswell has been the winner of numerous music industry awards including 8 Golden Guitars, 16 Tamworth Songwriters Association Awards, an ARIA, an APRA Award as well as 2 gold singles, a platinum and 3 gold albums for his writing and production work.

I have just recorded a chat with Allan ahead of his upcoming Victorian tour where he will team up with Bobby Valentine to do shows in StKilda, Port Fairy and Trentham. I can't wait to share it with you. (and big thanks to Allan for his patience with me - we've battled a number of technical issues and reschedules to get this interview done!)

We’ll feature plenty of Allan’s music, plus some great new alt-country releases, and maybe even some “gold” and “silver” songs given we’ve been taken over by Olympic fever.
