The Skylight Buslines community in Shepparton and Campbellfield Sadly bid farewell to a cherished family member, Alan Rickard. At 75, Alan was not just a driver; he was a vibrant spirit whose love for his work shone as brightly as his heart of gold. Known affectionately as the 'Rain Maker', Alan had an uncanny knack for getting the rainy day shifts, a testament to his dedication and resilience. His energetic nature and genuine care for everyone, from Vline train passengers to the school children he greeted daily, left a lasting impression. Alan's absence will be deeply felt, but his legacy of warmth and kindness continues to inspire the Skylight family. His life's journey reminds us all to approach each day with enthusiasm and to make every interaction count. Farewell, Alan, the roads you traveled are richer for your journey.
