Itinerary for Garden Tour in China 2019
See the Garden, attend the Peony Festival!
Day 01 12/04/2019 Fri. Melbourne- Xiamen
Arrive at Melbourne Airport at 8:45. Meet at Xiamen Airlines check-in desk.
Leave Melbourne at 11:20 by MF804 arrive Gaoqi Airport at 19:00. Met by local tour guide and transferred to hotel.
Day 02 13/04/2019 Sat. Xiamen
Day tour to Hakka Earthen Building which were inscribed in 2008 by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. (B,L,D)
Day 03 14/04/2019 Sun.
Xiamen-Shanghai-Suzhou
After breakfast you will be taken to visit Gulang Island which is the UNESCO World Culture Heritage Site also named the island of Piano as there is a Piano Museum Most of the families there love music and some of the famous pianists in China are from that island.
Leave Island around 11:00 and have Vegetarian lunch in the restaurant near South Putuo Temple.
Transferred to airport, departure at 19:00, arrival in Shanghai at 20:55 by
MF 8545.Transferred from Shanghai to Suzhou by coach (2 Hr) (B,L)
Day 04 15/04/2019 Mon. Suzhou
Suzhou is the city which was described as beautiful as paradise. One of the reasons Is there are many beautiful Chinese style gardens.
After breakfast visit Suzhou Garden Technical School, have a guided tour and see how gardeners are trained in China. The visiting will take about two hours (9:00—11:00). After lunch visit two Chinese gardens
• Linbering Garden the Chinese name of this garden is Liu Yuan
• Master of the Nets Garden
Both these two gardens are UNESCO World heritage Ste
An optional night canal tour may be arranged if available (extra cost). (B,L,D)
Day 05 16/04/2019 Tue. Suzhou
Visit Tiger Hill in the morning, which has been a tourist attraction for around 2,500 years! There are dozens of scenic spots- each has its own legend. The gardens here are particularly beautiful in the Spring.
Next, we visit the Silk Factory and have lunch at the restaurant there. Suzhou
is very famous for its silk production. It has been connected with silk manufacturing for over 4,000 years. Follow the silk production from tiny eggs on mulberry leaves to cocoons and then moths. Then spinning and weaving and the finished article- WOW!
Wonderful shop at the factory Afternoon, visit Shantang Street, an ancient
cobble-stoned street. Take a ride in a boat along the canal.
Remember- Suzhou is the Venice of the Orient. (B,L.D)
Dat 06 17/04/2019 Wed. Suzhou/Kaifeng
Leave Suzhou by early morning train G1802 at 06:40 arrive Kaifeng at 11:07.
Visit the Millennium City Park (Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden).
The MILLENNIUM CITY PARK is a valuable life drawing for social custom, which represents social life, social custom and building structure of Kaifeng as ancient city in Northern Song Dynasty.
Have dinner in the Garden. After dinner enjoy the fantastic Out Door show of ‘Glory of Kaifeng in Song Dynasty by seats in A area. (B,L,D)
Day 07 18/04/2019 Thu.
Kaifeng/Shaolin Monastery/Luoyang
Day trip to Shaolin Monastery.
Leave for Luoyang in the afternoon. After arrival having dinner in local restaurant and followed by check in hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 08 19/04/2019 Fri. Luoyang (Peony Festival)
Visit National Peony Garden, In garden about 10:00 and leave at 3:00pm Tour guide. Will with the group and help to arrange your lunch by your own.
Back to hotel and enjoy the rest of the day by yourselves. (B)
Day 09 20/04/2019 Sat. Luoyang /Zhengzhou
Visit UNESCO site, famous Longmen Grottoes (Incl. Battery car)in the morning Carvings commenced here in AD494, and you will see small and large carvings of the Buddha.
Leave for Zhengzhou in the afternoon by private coach (around 200 Km
and 3hr Driving) After check in hotel free at your own leisure. (B,L)
Day 10 21/04/2019 Sun.
Zhengzhou/Xiamen/Melbourne
Free in the morning.
The tour guide will take you for lunch and then transferred to airport.
Leave Zhengzhou at 14:20, arrive Xiamen at 16:30 by MF847.
Departure from Xiamen at 22:00 by MF803. (B,L)

Arrive in Melbourne at 09:15
