Welcome to our Wildlife Wednesday! Here’s a short video that a couple USA guests provided us from a recent private wildlife & nature tour they did with Matt. It was late afternoon on a 2-day Great Ocean Road tour and they had never seen kangaroos before... A good reminder to always drive carefully, especially at dawn and dusk when wildlife is particularly active!

Lest we forget. A beautiful sunrise this morning here in Anglesea.

While we would usually be attending one of the commemorative dawn services along the Great Ocean Road, today we instead reflect and give thanks to everyone past and present that has served for our country from our driveway while listening to the live Anzac Day service from the Shrine of Remembrance.

We’ve had a few amazing summer storms roll through over the past week or so bringing some nice rainfall to our region and greening up the paddocks, increasing the water flowing over the waterfalls and providing us with some spectacular clouds and thunderstorms. Everyday along our coast is another opportunity for a spectacular experience and this one last night was no exception as some lightning passed by the 12 Apostles. Love where we live!
