It's interesting what happens when you choose to DO life differently....
This morning I began my Morning Meditation with a long spa...
a nice watery indulgence, just the bubbles and I and the space between the bubbles.... I smiled as I recalled the previous evening where my grandkids had finished their evening this way; in sync with the bubbles, creating their own bubbles of joy.
Here I lay, kicking back chillaxing and watching the bubbles....surrendering to the moment and asking SPirit to 'show me something new that I needed to know.'
I was reflecting upon this course at the time and tweaking it, as one does when kicking back in the bath....and I realised that CHANGE needed ACTION, action of some degree; it's not a passive sit there waiting at your door for change to rock up and announce itself kind of thing. Time after time, I see this in the courses I run online; those who do the work, those who are vigilant, those who follow and witness the trail of their emotions, those who've learnt to embrace this aspect of process work, reap the rewards.... CHANGE is anything but passive, it requires movement.
I made me smile as I recalled one by one all of the super brave people I know who've embraced some challenging aspect of their own perception, whether it be a based in a belief someone else had implanted or they had adopted, but worked it; embraced and connected with all aspects of it,to transmute a change of some description. They understood the POWER of the subconscious....to facilitate big shifts in their life. They didn't mind feeling uncomfortable short term for long term gain because they'd experienced and valued the rewards that moments of sublime enlightenment could birth.
Well, what I saw before my eyes, made me giggle. My spa has 5 jets...5 ironically IS the number of change. Where the jets blew new life into the rippling waters, fresh bubbles emerged and burst forth with vibrancy and energy. They didn't stay long, they were constant, they were changing, they had a lifeforce all of their own. Much like healing energy, the movement created a shift that was inwardly and outwardly visible. As I watched the bubbles, I could hear my grandkids giggles, I became lighter watching, and fascinated by the constant shifts, changes, movement; there was something both mesmerising and gleeful about the new life bursting forth...and my eyes kept being drawn in and struck with awe.
This occurred at every point where a jet existed. At the jet point behind me where my back rested up against the edge, there was a kind of schlop schlop noise as the water burst forth and then constricted. For some odd reason, that too made me giggle....but then I might be easily amused! I'm definitely a morning person and meditation always shifts my perception and connects me to one of the four states of the Soul ~ Love, Peace, Joy, Personal Power.
But, (and the teacher in me KNOWS one should NEVER start a sentence with a but!) ....where there were no jets....the bubbles lacked life force, they clung together, there was no vibrancy. They had a kind of sludginess to their appearance, they were 'lack luster' and they didn't seem to change. They just went around and around in a whirlpool of circles, collecting each other, collecting more sludge, looking more lifeless.
If it's possible for bubbles to look sad, they looked sad; there was certainly no joy, no life force, no energy or vitality about them.
It was fascinating to see the mirroring to real life....because as I began, change requires movement. It doesn't just occur on it's own..we are connected and the generator of the vibration that creates the issues in our life...we HAVE to simultaneously be part of the solution for change to be the outcome!
CHANGE/TRANSFORMATION, a shift in perspective, requires some action from us to do things differently....and ironically, sometimes, it's not actually until we actively take time out to be passive and silent and watchful and alert that we allow ourselves to notice it.
We ARE the solution to ALL of our challenges but so often in our busy worlds we just don't notice it...
BUT, the amazing thing about SPirit is, when we set an intention and back it with action and take one step towards GRACE...Grace takes 1,000 steps towards us....
Often we are gobsmacked by awarenesses that for so long has been right before our very eyes.....or in my case, bursting in a bubble trying to catch out attention...
The old adage, "Where attention goes, energy flows' is one of the MOST powerful Spiritual Precepts there is!
If you are called...
The 21 Days of Christmas Angels is a golden opportunity to do JUST this......make time for you...make time to connect with your intentions and take some action on the aspects of your life that you'd like to shift, change and transform or the magical ones you'd like to amplify.
