With 1,800 guests seated along 600+ metres of beautifully styled table, and a sensational 3-course menu curated by none other than Curtis Stone and delivered by Curtis Stone Events, the afternoon was a celebration of culinary excellence, connection, and creativity.

And that’s a wrap for AIME 2025! Over the last days, our team fully immersed themselves in everything this event had to offer.

AIMEAsiaPacific hosts around 20,000+ meetings between exhibitors and buyers, and this year our team made up around 225 of these – busy busy! It's these wonderful opportunities to connect, learn, and feel inspired that strengthen Totem Connections’ global network - giving our clients access to the best industry connections, exclusive opportunities, cutting-edge technology, and creative event solutions.

Some of you may know that one of Totem’s passions is searching and integrating sustainability initiatives into our clients' Conferences or Events. Our aim is to show that great events can be both unforgettable and eco-friendly. Here’s a look at how we achieved this at Ubuntu Thrive 24:

📋When building out the conference agenda, it’s important to partner with the right venue. Finding a venue that is all-inclusive and can support your agenda requirements means that delegates can enjoy all the activities on site. We minimised our overall footprint by hosting all conference sessions, activities, welcome dinner, supplier showcase and gala dinner around the one, local precinct with no additional transportation required!

We had the pleasure of organising the incredible conference for Connections Travel Group, bringing together our teams from CT Connections and Edge Connections, along with esteemed suppliers and industry peers, for the first time in five years.

We brought our a-game to Ubuntu Thrive 24, sparing no quirky idea, challenge, or aspiration; from choosing the venue to building a custom App to communicate with our guests and help them manage flights and accommodation, to highlighting our sponsors, securing amazing speakers, and giving back to the community with a CSR initiative. Thrive 24 was truly a joy to plan.
