th the country’s largest and most respected events such as The Big Day Out and Rainbow Serpent Festival. History:
Traditionally called The Cinema 180, the structure was built in the 1970’s and screened 3D movies around Australia throughout the 80’s and 90’s. The cinema equipment has since been replaced with a new laser light and sound system and a full renovation has transformed the structure into a world class entertainment venue. The venue itself comprises a 44 ft duel axle semi trailer with a large vinyl hemisphere attached to the offside of the vehicle. It is inflated using positive air pressure provided by a 3 phase electric internal fan. An auxiliary diesel powered fan is built into the unit. Our venue is a free standing self supporting structure. The Club 180 team holds a Diploma of Events Management and draws from a diverse background with over 25 years experience in Events Production and Management. Our team has held senior management and production rolls in world class events both here in Australia and internationally from The Olympic Games and The Commonwealth Games to some of Australia s premiere festivals including Petes Ridge Festival and Rainbow Serpent Festival. We have a strong focus on OH&S and are compliant with all regulatory requirements. We have onsite paramedic, fire support and safety officer. Our organisation is focused on service and delivery. We adopt a management process that engages all regulatory and statulatory bodies to ensure positive outcomes. We are committed to working locally to improve the social and environmental well being of our community. We proudly Australian owned family business with an investment in community family values and diversity. We have a significant connection to traditional land owners and indigenous Australians and where possible encourage cultural exchanges to benefit all.
