We are looking for a part time Stablehand during the week to support our amazing team members!
Ideally looking for someone to working during the day period , this position could be between school hours if you are a busy mum. Or a teen looking to build their skills and experience in their first job.
The successful applicant should have basic horse handling skill with previous experience (whether that’s owning your own horses or have been employed in the equine industry previously).
At the moment ideally we are looking for approx 3 hours on each of the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. (Approx 12hrs per week)
Job would involve bringing in horses, saddling/preparing for lessons. Mucking out and making feeds etc possibly more as your skills grow. This job is an all weather position so you’d need to be content working in the rain and heat.
Hours can be a bit flexible for the right fit (within reason). Great supportive team that prides itself in education and safety
Position is paid according to the Amusement and recreation award please feel free to look up rate of pay against your age. Everybody starts at introductory rate, award level may increase dependant on your level of expertise.
