Aaaah 4 weeks until I am back in Paris at Antonellas B&B my sweet home in Paris & my FAVE solo womens only B&B haven in the city, my home and my office space, and where beautiful brave ladies visiting the city can stay too with Anton my gorgeous Yogi and astrologist friend who will be YOUR friend and guide to the city too! I adore Antonella she is the kindest genuine soul and hostess and her home in the very heart of the Marais, literally across from the musee Carnavalet and up the road from Place des Vosges its the most prime prestigious location you can imagine! Truly! Enjoy my little video tour from last year but a new video is cominnng and i cannot wait. The only real change though is sadly mississippi is no longer with us, she passed peacefully into cat heaven. Ill be here at Antons for 2 weeks this December and then returning again in February! PLUS Anton studio just up the road will be revisited and this is also booking now for 2025! But even more exciting is Antonellas NEW studio in le Bastille, currently under refurb and to be revealed as the new womens solo single and sensational studio. Stay tuned ladies... its time to run away to Paris and live and love Anronella and her magnificent homes. Ive known antonella for 15 years, she is a friend and colleague who I cant express enough love for, just trust me, you will love her too and feel sooo supported and empowered staying with her in the city! Did you know that its only 3.5kms from Montmartre village (and Lisettes gorgeous apartment) to the centre of Paris and the Seine river?? Paris truly is Petite, she is small but she packs in alot! And this walk from Montmarte is hands down my favourite easy downhill stroll in Paris starting from Lisettes home, you get to pass ALL of Paris on the way to the centre, passing perfect patisseries and Paris' historic passages along the way, the opera garnier and Galleries lafayette, tuileries jardin, yes you can even include a stop at the Louvre... I make so many pit stops for more coffee, croissants or fromage, as I head for the Seine river where antique booksellers line the banks and the bridges of Paris decorated by views of le Eiffel is the near distance as the grand finalle.. But if you feel like it, you can keep going and cross over to the left bank too! Its the most perfect Paris day and its only 5 weeks until I am back on my favourite trail! Lisettes 2 bedroom apartment is a gem to me not only for its beauty and charm but that i feel i am living at the 'top of Paris' and all of she is at my feet!! Yes ok fine, I DO take the metro or bus to go back uphill home hehe PS My paris lovers, Lisettes apartment is 50% booked out for 2025, the peak months are going fast, May is BOOKED out completely and so is November, Sept is almost full too! Take a Sunday stroll through the Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris with picturesque garden for a sunrise coffee, croissant and still moment, around the corner from B&B Anton, my single ladies only B&B oasis! The Maison de Victor Hugo is also a free museum you can visit when visiting this square (permanent collection free) i. the Marais Village! I just finished watching the trilogy 'Before Sunrise', 'Before Sunset' and 'Before Midnight' With French actress Julie Delphy and Ethan Hawk who fall in love in part 1 on a train between Vienna and Paris, Part 2 they reunite 9 years later in Paris and re-fall in love and part 3 is 9 years later again based in Greece. I highly recommend it. But my fave of the 3 is naturally part 2 based entirely in Paris where the entire movie is spent walking winding through the streets of the 11th arrondissement of Paris for the entire 90min - its nothing but passing streets and iconic sites of this very bohemian neighbourhood of Paris that i love. I could recognise all the fave places i knew as they walked and talked about love and life...and I have used that path they took as inspiration to create my own walking itinerary through the bobo 11th heaven of Paris for all of my guests who want to explore a true residential arty village of Paris thats less touristy but has it all! My new itinerary is like a 'choose your own adventure' path, ive geographically laid out the best order to walk to see all the best spots but YOU control which way to go, pick what you want or dont want to see. It starts at 8am in the top end of the village and zig zags through to the bottom, things you may decide to see include a hilltop secret vineyard, a rustic bar in a parc, visit piaf musee, or maybe you prefer a digital art museum, or maybe pere lachaise cemetary, theres a famous artisian street where only local designers sell their craft, a flea market, gourmet market, lunch options spot included, a serious of secret passages - pick a path, a speakeasy and dancing venue and so much more... Im proud to say my gorgeous apartment alvene is right in the middle of this neighbourhood and this itinerary is free for anyone who books it for 2025 to explore this neighbourhood from the foot of their front door. First, un cafe and croissant at a cute classic art nouveau brasserie in the 14eme, then 5mins away take a leisurely stroll through the colourful bustling South of Paris Antique flea markets and hunt for some take home treasures, you will find books, fashion, arts and prints you'll feel so happy proud to take home, then 5mins from there is a must visit walk through one of the cities 'hidden' secret passages that feels like you're in a provincial village, 5 mins from there again (slowly making your way back to the centre and the Seine river of Paris) is the oldest and best creperie in the city for lunch, OR enjoy lunch with an Eiffel tower view (your choice), 10 mins from here you will spend the afternoon in one of the most beautiful museums 'Musee Rodin' admiring Rodin exquisite scultpures (this is the maison where he lived) as well as sculptures by Camille Claudel (his lover) - the breathtaking sculpture garden is worth a visit on its own.
