The one and only original ladies home 'B&B antonella!!!! and yes we are sisters, we call eachother sister prounounced seeesterrrr all the time; Hi Eeester, bonjour ma soeurrrr, I love it! and this B&B in Paris is for all our worldly sisters too; a safe gorgeous space for solo ladies in Paris. Currently i have my lovely loyal Tiffany from Taiwan staying here for 2 long luxurious weeks!! and who ill be meeting up with later this week in Paris. Hi Tiffany!!! 🥰🥰🥰 one of my most loyal and regulars Tiffany has stayed in a bunch if my Paris B&Bs but always returns to her Paris sis @ B&B Antonella. Though sadly Antonella had to leave Paris for Easter family commitments it means Tiffany has this huge home in the heart of le Marais to herself. And it can happen occasionally where Antonella has to leave Paris for work too, BUT that just means you get a luxury style large apartment going for over 400euro in the area for only 140euro a night - eeek!! And Im so glad that Tiffany also enjoys her own solo solitude - though dont worry lady, your other Paris sister is cominnnnnng!! ME! Cant wait to meet you FINALLY! Sharing these beautiful photos of my B&B host Alvene looking after my adorable guests Mary and Geoff from South Australia, currently staying in Alvene's 11eme Paris apartment. I have massive FOMO haha but will be visiting South Aust later in the year and may just have to pass by Mary and Geoff's hehe for Paris sake LOL Anyway i love to see my guests having a wonderful time with Alvene because he is the absolute best sweetest kindest soulful generous person you will ever meet and I want everyone to know it! I am obsessing over Alvene's new decor touches to his 2eme apartment! Home to so many of my Petite Paris guests just got even better!! The new wallpaper, pillows, throws, antique finds, new bathroom, chandeliers. I know Alvene has spent months scouring the antique markets (and with me its our fave thing to do together in Paris) hunting to pull all of this together to continually upgrade the hone for my guests!!! Link is below and in the comments below this post 🥐🥐 I cant believe i haven't thought of this before because i am sooo obssessed with this show, (Paris episodes only haha) BUT lightbulb moment this is a GREAT way to start to understand the beautiful complexities and realities of Parisian apartments and the miniscule life of Parisians. Watch these Paris episodes with Paris apartment expert Adrian Leeds, I LOVE ALL her commentary and what she says is SPOT ON about Parisian apartments and living the Paris life! Particularly when she tells apartment hunts to 'get real' so to speak hehhehe!! The main points that always get highlighted are covered here - teeny space reality, teeny fridges, how rare a dishwasher osis, even a laundry washer, how difficult (oops i mean near impossible) it is to find a unit with a balcony (get real haha), & the big one for me is location, i LOVE that Adrian says 'this IS Paris' when they are visiting the neighbourhood outside whats considered central Paris. just some real everyday sights and especially sounds of Paris as I 'go down memory lane' and look back all the zillion photos and videos I took in Paris the last 3 months. I wont say how many i took but Im a psychotic photo taker in Paris haha but happy to have these snippets of authentic Paris. Who wants more of these??? Ps Thats in the first video. An absolute must-eat-at institution in Paris with exquisite art nouveau style (look at that glass ceiling omg) built 1901 and a historic monument. (In 1787, the building hosted the restaurant Le Cheval Blanc, and became one of the first café-concerts). It's known as a classic spot for traditional hearty french fare for very very decent prices. locals love it, tourists know about it, everyone's invited! I think i ate here 3 times this trip and its also included in my Paris itineraries ❤️ I love the sound of a bustling brasserie dont you? Even the sound of the metro gets me all nostalgic LOL plus a little vintage shopping sound and the cray-cray streets of le marais and its ongoing pedestrian party 🥰🌹www.petite-paris.com

3 things today 🥰 🥰
1. Just before I left for my first overseas solo trip many moons ago, my friends asked how do you have the courage'? I didnt, i was terrified, but I booked the flight so I was going! It was after navigating the foreign city a few days that I felt a surge of courage, plus pride and other wonderful feels hehe. It also helped having the most amazing B&B hosts who gave me a sense of friendly security and connection in a city i didnt know, a sturdy home/platform to launch into the city. So if you are not feeling courageous to book that first solo adventure to Paris, you don't need courage, its not what gets you there, or you may never go, you just need to book a flight and ill be here for the rest. Action brings the experience!
2. Something people don't know about me is that I worked part time in Melbourne, In Youth Residential Care and Community Housing & Homelessness. Im aware of the extremity of the two jobs - finding people beautiful homes in Paris to finding or creating safe homes for vulnerable kids or adults when they didnt have one or safe ones. For me there is balance here 🙏 And while I dont do that work now because as an empath it started to impact me (😔) i have always known that this is about my personal story about 'finding home' which includes travel. Perhaps it was being an immigrant and struggling to 'feel at home' perhaps it was realising that I wanted to feel at home anywhere or being so sick at one stage of life i thought i would be homeless. In any case we ALL deserve a safe home, at home and away from home and I found a love of finding people homes in my fave adopted city Paris, with hosts to help them feel even more at home! 🥰
3. And, just a big proud shout out to my new friend and guest Wendy, who travelled to Paris for the first time in 20 years. She did it! And to my incredible host Alvene who took Wendy out to help her get her bearings, learn how to use the metro and buses, all the essentials! Looks like You owned the city by the end of it lovely hehe. That one morning in Paris where i sneaky snuck downstairs from Studio Peet to B&B Peet to have me a little breakfast with my magnificent host Alvene who is helping Peet with running the B&B hehe because i was craving Peets homemade jams, butter and yogurts and fresh baked cake - which is what you get each day at Breaky when you stay at B&B Peet served in the big gorgeous dining lounge room!! So here are the rough little video snaps i took hehe And then I took advantage of some of the empty guest rooms and took extra videos of them for you!! 🥰 Arent the rooms so lovely??!! Happy Weekend everyone. I am 7 days post Paris and very much on the 'come down' waaaa😞 but Im still a busy B&B bee here, hehe! Currently I am work on a new Paris Itinerary for a new guest of mine who is visiting Paris on a Monday and Tuesday when it can be tricky to know whats open and closed so thats where my knowledge and expertise can help - and as always I am having a ball creating something bespoke and special catered to her needs and interests too! B&B Finder Service: Petite Paris is always on the hunt for wonderful homes and hosts. If you think you have what it takes to be a great B&B host, with a home that has the capacity to offer guests a private guest room please contact us - [email protected] - and we will come out to you to view your home and chat with you about the possibilities and begin the very exciting and rewarding road of helping you to set-up your B&B. The annual fee to list your B&B on the Petite Paris website is AUD $350 per year (or 225euro). This is a very competitive rate that we feel is fairer for guests and B&B hosts, than the usual 15-20% commission that all other booking services charge, per booking. This also helps B&B hosts to manage their B&B fees upfront annually while all bookings become 100% profit.
OUR HOSTS GUARANTEE & GUIDELINES
Your Petite B&B host will personally welcome you into their home, your temporary home-away-from-home, and will happily and willingly answer any questions that you have throughout your stay, make reservations for taxis and lunch/dinner restaurants if you so wish, provide breakfast daily (should you select it), conduct daily cleaning of your room and bathroom (unless you specify otherwise) and will be there to help you both check in and check out. If there is no lift access in the building (in Paris it is common to find no lift as the buildings are historic and cannot accommodate adding lifts) then hosts will always help with getting luggage to and from the apartment.
B&B hosts will happily share their local city knowledge, insight and experience with you. Recommending places to visit, restaurants to try etc, Guests are free to call their hosts for assistance during their stay between the hours of 8am - 8pm. For any emergencies, please refer to the emergency list of contacts your host will provide to you on arrival.
Hosts will happily help you explore your neighbourhood like a local by either taking you on guided walks (if you wish for this type of personal experience), or by sharing their favourite local spots and leaving instructions, cards or maps etc. Hosts who personally take their guests on guided walks may charge for this as an extra service (subject to their availability) while some offer if as a complimentary service.
B&B hosts may also offer other cultural activities such: cooking lessons, astrology sessions, yoga classes, home cooked meals, art lessons, secret walks, art excursions, language lessons, patchwork classes and more. All additional services with or without cost are detailed on the webpage description for the B&B and are to be negotiated (for availability) directly with your host.
