Need to get away from it all? Want to reconnect with a self that seems to be forgotten? There is nothing like getting out into the remote to rediscover what you are all about. No Roads Expeditions will take care of all your adventure travel needs. For many of us, we work hard all year to get away for 2 or 3 weeks. That annual adventure centers our lives, puts life back into perspective and allows

us time for just ourselves. It is a vital part of our existence and a time that should not be wasted. That is why it is important to choose the right adventure company, a company that will fulfill your wishes in a conscientious way, so that you can return home rejuvenated, enriched by the experience knowing you have helped yourself and hopefully someone else along the way. No Roads Expeditions is dedicated to achieving these goals for you. We specialize in remote expeditions such as the Kokoda Track, Mt Rinjani, the Komodo Islands, Everest Base Camp, Tour du Mont Blanc, Machu Picchu, Kilimanjaro and so much more. No Roads Expeditions is considered the industry leader along the Kokoda Track. Our operations in Papua New Guinea are legendary and our attention to detail second to none on the Kokoda Trail. We also offer trips to Mt Wilhelm in PNG but it is the Kokoda Trail and Kokoda Track that we excel in. We are also heavily involved in running trips to the Komodo Islands with our Komodo Island Sea Kayaking. For more information about our overall trips please go to http://www.noroads.com.au/

Georgian polyphonic singing, one of the world's oldest singing traditions, dates back to pre-Christian times. It developed independently of Western musical rules, featuring a unique scale system based on the fifth. Recognized by UNESCO, this art form showcases complex harmonies and regional variations, reflecting Georgia's rich cultural heritage and resilience.

Small Groups Big Teams, that's the No Roads Kokoda way. Our group sizes are small in comparison to other groups (think 6-12 people) but our local support teams are big in comparison, normally 1 trekker to 2 support crew (that's much bigger than most others). Why does that matter to you? Because, if on the off chance you need to be evacuated or helped along the Track, we have plenty of helping hands to make sure you are super safe. That's Kokoda by No Roads! https://noroads.com.au/kokoda-trail/

"This trip was truly one to remember. Our guide Mattias and the crew ran the whole trip like a well oiled machine and I was very well looked after as a solo traveler in my 50’s. I could do as much or as little of the amazing kayaking, hiking and snorkeling as I wanted and seeing Manta Rays and Komodo Dragons was an absolute highlight. The food was delicious and plentiful too. Highly recommended". Julie - Australia

Solar Power has come to our Komodo Kayaking Journey. With an abundance of sun in the Komodo islands, we only thought it natural to harness it to keep our guests cool at night in their cabins. Until now we have had to run a small generator to run the AC at night. That is no longer the case with our beautiful Solar System installed. All AC's are running all night for our guests to stay cool and all they hear is the lapping of the sea against the hull of the boat,. Well done to Ibu Fitri our manager and our great Crew.

Everest Tea Houses or Lux Hotels? While we think whatever it takes to walk the Everest region, there is a big difference between local tea houses and our Lux version. Of course the Lux version is far more comfortable and in some ways more immersive as we stay in one place above Namche Bazaar for 4 days. But our Lux trip won't get you all the way to Everest Base Camp (the helicopter will get you above it though).
Either way, we love the Solu Khumbu and Everest Region.

Which Kokoda is best for you? With several options available, not all Kokoda's are the same. For example which is better for you, the classic 11 day trip with 9 days on the trail including a rest day in the middle OR the Fast Kokoda which is 6 days on the trail and no rest day. There is a big difference and making the right decision is vital. Or how about an Australian Led trip compared to a Local Led trip. If it's history you want then of course the Australian Led trip is for you. But if the physical challenge of Kokoda is your focus, then a Local Led trip could be the right decision. With so much on offer why not give us a call or send us a message at [email protected]? We are more than happy to help you make the right decision.

Our Story

Need to get away from it all? Want to reconnect with a self that seems to be forgotten? There is nothing like getting out into the remote to rediscover what you are all about. No Roads Expeditions will take care of all your adventure travel needs. There are literally hundreds of travel companies on the internet these days. The net allows small companies to have a presence on the web, and for them to compete with large multinational companies. This is great news for them and consumers. Unfortunately, while many of these small companies look great, their services and what they claim they can do for you do not always add up. For many of us, we work hard all year to get away for 2 or 3 weeks. That annual adventure centers our lives, puts life back into perspective and allows us time for just ourselves. We are remote expedition specialists with operations along the Kokoda Track Papua New Guinea and the Highlands of PNG, the Komodo Islands Indonesia, Everest Base Camp Nepal, Tour du Mont Blanc France Italy and Switzerland, Machu Picchu Peru, Atlas Mountains Morocco and so much more. No Roads Expeditions is considered the industry leader along the Kokoda Track. Our operations in Papua New Guinea are legendary and our attention to detail second to none on the Kokoda Trail. We are also heavily involved in running trips to the Komodo Islands with our Komodo Island Sea Kayaking business.

We have also become one of the most successful companies along the Tour du Mont Blanc with our unsurpassed guides, itinerary style and inclusions.
