That’s a wrap for 2024. Thank you all, friends of TC for allowing this little endeavour to do some of the things that the biggies can’t do and have fun the whole time!

Take time to rest and relax. Spend time with your loved ones.

Feet up now and see you all in 2025 when we will be celebrating our 25th as well. We’re looking forward to more caffeinated shenanigans.

So it seems that a Telstra glitch killed voicemail and those calling on our 1300 number were met with a message that our service was “switched off” rather than being able to leave a voicemail message. 😡

In spite of the lack of assistance from our 1300 mob and Telstra, it’s now sorted- via a process of trial and error. You will be able to make contact as normal now. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Whist we don't buy any commodity coffee and gladly pay many times these numbers for even our least expensive beans, this will influence our prices: Even moreso for those who roast and sell cheap coffee as they are seeing massive % increases.

On the bench for testing today were the Pro 400 and the Single boiler PID Profi Go.

So what are we seeing here? 🤦‍♂️

Considering electroplating on your machine? At this point, we’d warn against it. Here’s our Cremina 12 months after and the crazy thing is it hasn’t been used! We found the coating was sufficiently think inside the group to make the portafilter impossible to load-so we removed it. It probably shouldn’t have been there in the first place anyway. A microfibre cloth used super carefully on the outside to protect the coating while we worked shows that it’s non-stick. At this point, we’ll probably cut losses and bead blast it off. #lessonlearned
