Dear Valued Passenger,

Here are a few things to know if you are planning for travel to India.

All travelers should:

1. Submit complete and factual information in self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal (https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration) before the scheduled travel, including last 14 days travel details.

2. Upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report* (The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey) or Certificate of completing full primary vaccination schedule of COVID-19 vaccination**.

3. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise.

Passenger(s) should also give an undertaking on the portal or otherwise to Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, through concerned airlines before they are allowed to undertake the journey that they would abide by the decision of the appropriate government authority any post arrival requirement to undergo home/institutional quarantine/ self-health monitoring, as warranted.

* Children under 5 years of age are exempted from both pre- and post-arrival testing. However, if found symptomatic for COVID-19 on arrival or during the period of self-monitoring period, they shall undergo testing and treated as per laid down protocol.

Based on the advice from Malaysia Airlines, we would like to explain the refund/rebooking procedure for all bookings, which are held as credit by the airline due to the Covid-19 flight cancellations. Please refer to the screenshot of the advice given by Malaysia Airlines.

* Involuntary Rebooking:
If your original ticket was booked before June 2020, and your flights were cancelled due to Covid impact, you are eligible for 1 free reissue under the same name(s).

- Conditions and Procedures:
Your new booking need to be ticketed before 30 June 2022
Your travel must complete before 31 Dec 2022
You need to pay in full for the new ticket; however, Malaysia airlines will refund the cost of the new ticket in a few weeks’ time.

*Voluntary Rebooking:
If your original ticket was booked before June 2020, and your flights were cancelled due to Covid impact, you are eligible to use the credit held by the airline to buy a new ticket from Malaysia airlines. This applies to rerouted tickets and travel beyond 31 Dec 2022.

- Conditions and Procedures:
Your new booking needs to be ticketed before 30 June 2022.
You need to pay in full for the new ticket; however, Malaysia airlines will refund the cost of the old ticket in a few weeks’ time.

*Applicable for Passengers with Airline Credit bookings to Kochi, India*

Passengers who hold a booking to Kochi will have an option to get their credit refunded if they travel with any airline to Kochi where Malaysia have not published the schedules. The boarding pass and ticket of this travel need to be submitted to Malaysia Airlines. All refunds are subject to Malaysia Airlines guidelines.
