Environmental Education for Kids - EEK

Environmental Education for Kids - EEK We are a local based education group in the Yarra Ranges. We offer various programs that focus on the local environment and much more! storm-water and pollution.

Environmental Education for Kids (EEK!) was developed in 2015 and came about from our love and passion for the local environment, sustainability and quality education. We aim to:
o Engage and educate kinder and primary school students about their local waterways and associated issues e.g. o Build a sense of community ownership
o Link primary schools with local environmental groups
o Foster connec

tions with their ‘local’ area. o Inspire a generation of environmental stewards who will take steps towards cleaner, more sustainable schools and community. o Empower young citizen scientists who can pass on their knowledge and passion to their peers, teachers, family and community. We run incursions and excursions with schools. Check out the website for further details.
