Justin Architecture Contemporary Architecture Firm in Melbourne Director Elisa Justin established Justin Architecture in 2011. Associate Graeme Heatley joined the practice in 2012.

It has quickly developed a reputation as a contemporary design focused practice, melding aesthetic vision with environmental sustainability. mercial projects. Working alongside Urban Artists has formed a major part of the Justin Architecture design ethos. This not only differentiates our firm, but celebrates the strong synergy between architecture, art, constructability and sustainable design. Justin Architecture has experienced a steady development since inception, and it aims to continue this growth whilst delivering unique, site-specific projects which are shaped to suit both people and purpose. Born into a family of designers, Elisa Justin was destined for Architecture. An early foray through sculpture, fluid organic forms shaped her future. After graduating from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Architecture, Elisa explored 7 years in the fashion industry, working with design teams from inception to delivery, always aiming for efficiency, customer/client satisfaction and flare. Justin Architecture became the culmination of her creative passion for aesthetic and sustainable space and form. He graduated with First class honours from the University of Dundee, Scotland. Graeme, who is originally from Northern Ireland, has over 10 years’ experience working on a variety of residential, educational, commercial and mixed use projects across the UK and Australia, as well as collaborating with international architects on larger design competitions.

Justin Architecture is a thriving studio specialising in multi-unit residential and boutique commercial work. A position has become available for an exceptional Project Architect with 4+ years post graduate experience to work on a range of commercial multi-residential, high end residential projects and commercial projects.

Justin Architecture are seeking an experienced Project Architect with a strong design sensibility, attention to detail, exceptional communication and organisational skills. Strong client liaison and team experience required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong all-rounder to join a design studio that has high design quality standards as well as a reputation for looking after their employees through a good work life balance and enjoyable working environment.

Salary offer commensurate with experience and skill base.


About You
The successful candidate will possess:
Tertiary qualification in Architecture
4+ years minimum post graduate experience
Developed project management skills
Excellent technical knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards and construction practice in Victoria
Industry knowledge, local regulations, detail focused
Proven experience/knowledge of ABIC simple and major works contracts
Documentation experience essential, with preference given to those with specific documentation experience in small to medium scale multi-residential projects
Excellent written, verbal and drawing skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, and produce accurate and reliable documentation
Ability to coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants and authorities
AutoCAD and Sketchup experience essential,
