From the early days of Mercury Lounge (now Fusion), this company has been involved in some of the biggest concerts, club shows, club nights and festivals including; Trey Songz One and Only Melbourne Concert, Lil Jon, Fatman Scoop, Fix Fridays, Block Party Fridays (Including Area Codes) and a range of one off public holiday events. Clublife is run under the direction of DJ Dir-X, who can almost be described as one of the founding veterans of the R&B drive of the Melbourne clubbing scene over the last 15 years. An original member of the famed 'Seven Deadly Spins' containing the likes of DJ's Fluke, Sef, Puppet, K-Dee (Formerly known as Dean K) and more of Melbourne's powerhouse R&B DJ's. What more can be said about DJ Peril? The first thing you need to know is that if it weren't for this individual, Melbourne Hip-Hop greats such as The Hilltop Hoods would most likely have never have made it into the scene as well as they did. He took his group, 1200 Techniques, to peaks that Australia had never seen and won themselves an ARIA. Not many can hold down that kind of a reputation and still be humble enough to grace the decks at some of Melbourne's most happening clubs. Just as much as he is known for his albums with the 1200's, he is just as known for his long running weekly Saturday, "DJ Peril's Soul Clap" which had been one of Melbourne's longest running R&B nights before house took over. His style of music and being able to play exactly what the crowd wants without them even thinking it yet is what has won him his reputation today. DJ Hoesty is one of Melbourne's oldest yet youngest DJ's to date. And that being said he still brings with him a unique style of DJ'ing which only he can deliver. From Ol' Skool to Nu' Skool and anything inbetween. If you want it, he has it. The always reliable DJ Hoesty will not miss a beat or mix in a bad track. From his early days in the underage scene he has secured himself as a force not to be reckoned with in todays R&B scene. As a representative of Melbourne's most jumping clubs including his own, Fabrique.
