Sunrise 'Road to Recovery' broadcast live from BIG4 Batemans Bay at Easts Riverside Caravan Park
It was fantastic to see Corinne and Philip East on national TV representing the caravan and camping industry on the Sunrise ‘Road to Recovery’ tour this morning.
It was an important opportunity to highlight the affects of the recent fires on our industry and the consequences for these communities. The Sunrise weather team live broadcast from the BIG4 Batemans Bay at Easts Riverside Caravan Park this morning plus Sam Mac and the team also enjoyed a night of hospitality in the park and made special mention to the hospitality offered by the Easts and beers in the fridge!
A special thanks also to the Sunrise team for choosing to include our industry and a caravan park in their tour.

The initiative is designed to help travellers make informed travel decisions so that when it is safe to travel again, they can get back in there to spend their money and help those communities reliant on tourism.

Caravan industry’s economic contribution to economy grabs media headlines
The caravan and camping industry contributes approximately $20.4 billion to the Australian economy each year.
Last week, Peter Clay featured on 4BC Drive with Mark Braybrook to discuss industry jobs, regional spending, and what people love about caravan and camping. 4BC is Brisbane’s premier news and talk radio station.

Research report featured on ABC Radio
Our Chinese Visitors in Caravan Parks report, the first of its kind in Australia and potentially the world, has proven very popular with media and tourism bodies.
The report explores Chinese tourists' preferences and behaviours, and also highlights the increase in Chinese tourists choosing caravan and camping holidays in Australia. This drew interest and inquiries from major tourism bodies in addition to media such as ABC and others.
