We’re so proud of and grateful for our team members who volunteered to help Australia Post and the wider community commemorate ANZAC Day yesterday.

Team members across Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong CBDs helped to distribute hand-held Australian flags to spectators lining the path of the parades, and some had the opportunity to join the march itself.

ANZAC Day is a time to come together and reflect on the sacrifice made by Australians and New Zealanders who served in conflict, war and peacekeeping operations. Thank you to our team members who helped us pay our respect.

Yesterday, Australia Post marched in the Midsumma Festival Melbourne Pride March. A huge number of our LGBTQIA+ team members, allies, family, friends and even their pooches were part of the celebration.

Our participation in Midsumma is just one way we as a business show our support for our LGBTQIA+ team members and the wider community.

Over the past two weeks, our support office team members have been donning their high-vis and steel-caps to kick off a support initiative for our frontline teams during their peak period.

Our ‘One Team’ initiative provides support to our frontline teams to make sure we’re delivering for Australian communities when they need us most. It’s also a unique opportunity for team members to learn more about our operations on the ground and better understand our customers’ needs.

Team member, Dimyana shared:

“Successfully completed our first One Team shift at Sydney Parcel Facility. A great reminder on just how hard our frontline team members work. It was great to see the whole team working together. Can confirm my pallet jack skills are exceptional, reach out for free lesson!”

We're delighted to announce our 4th Stretch (RAP). This plan outlines our commitments to reconciliation, including continuing to be an employer of choice for Indigenous people. As part of this commitment, over the next two years we'll be increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation in our workforce to 3.15%.
